i actually joined on my birthday.
i was invited in by imy at the time, and told to talk to lilly
from there the friendship of lilly and i ensued, namely being completely lost and barmy.
she told me to put my application in completely the wrong place

since then i have been proudly stalking your forums and hoppin into chat now and then toharass :p

Joined because there wasn't many clans that didn't fall apart within 2 months of me joining

It's hard to get involved but once your known it's really easy, I have people saying hi to me in the chat and if i'm honest i don't know who they are

My advice is to never expect members to say hi to you, if you want to make the impression and the friends, you have to make the effort

Oh and I left the other day when everyone was mad at me about the avatar, so I've decided to steer clear of it, but I'm glad I am still in Cts after all this time. Especially when I got to meet everyone for this first time, like Runefest and AT/TP and Go Ape.

That's a real shame, I haven't seen that happen before but it seems when you came back you were allowed to stay and it looks like you have been here ever since?

I'm all for sharing the stories good and bad but could you fill us in on as much of both sides of the story as possible please?

How I joined Consentus...

Well I guess there would probably need to be some background first, so here goes. I used to be part of Saints. I loved that place, made great friends, had been there since the first week, and it was a good experience. Sadly though, things started to take a turn for the worst in the clan, so I decided to leave after having been a general for year and a half or so.  I then went looking for other clans and decided to give Pcfl a try. After all, back in the day, it was one of the impressive and/or elite ones. I stayed for a couple months, I believe, and liked it in general. It wasn't really the same, though. I did meet lots of cool people there, however, including Mr. Declan, Novak, Lilly, At Ge, Twix, and many others.

So one day, Lilly told me she was fed up with Pcfl (Peacefull) and wanted to break off into a new clan, and that she, Tara, and Bex were going to be the co-owners if I wanted to join too. So I was like, sure, I can give it a try. I liked the feel a lot more and soon a lot of my old friends, from both Saints (Mono Mono and Dago, among others) and Pcfl were joining too, and I've been here ever since. Which is since it started, really. I also really liked the Consentus forums and used them quite often. I did not make a new account when we got new forums, however. I was starting college in the US in the fall of 2011, and I was trying to step away from RS for awhile, so I wanted to have as few things bringing me back as possible. And it worked, I guess. It made it a lot easier to focus on studies. I did miss the community, though, and popped in every once and awhile in the chat. Decided I'd go ahead and make a new forums account during Christmas break this year since it's my second year and I have a better feel of college now.

But anyway, that's how I joined Consentus, and I'm very glad to see it's still around.

I joined consentus last October cos I'd watched Cody(Iuro's) vids for a while and he said he was part of a skilling clan so I inquired and joined. Many of the people in the clan at the time had come from Hopefull or some other skilling clan so it was quite different.  I made my G&A soon after and I'm glad it's still going :p I was fairly quiet and was surprised when I was promoted to Outstanding. Soon after that there was talk of starting up the citadel so I offered to run it and did. I ran it alone with some short lasting partners but none lasted very long ;p Then Mathi joined and helped me out I stepped down soon after and left the chat.
Now I just spend time on the forums and pop into the cc every now and then

I joined consentus probably a month or two after it was out. I did not know many members at all that were part of "saints" or "peaceful" or even hopeful who had left to join. I was one of four who founded hopeful. Before hopeful i was just some random noob hopeing to make it big as an ftp skiller. I had a skiller before hot sub, and eventually got combat. "Energized U" was the name. Tried hot sub for quite a time. I was part of "bliszful" friends chat forever it seemed. I met many awesome people like "bliszful" "lvl3 skater" "Maybe Im Ok" "Ohs" "Triforce165" "Rie___XIE__X". My Idol was Miner I.  I never really met him but he had awesome smithing xp and had earned quite a wealth stack being lvl 3 ftp. Skillers were rare characters before 2008. Things were harder to obtain before jagex influenced rs with its many updates that changed the course of the game. I miss those times when mining and other skills took time and detication to get. It was not always about getting pixels or skillcapes. I eventually feel into that trap on hot sub getting 99 mining and the skillcape. I was an amazing ftp skiller before that. I did make another skiller "Wispy One" but i lost interest into rs overall.. even when i went into questing crazes. 

To this day, i am never on rs much. Maybe because i needed more quests to do for recipe for disaster? I don't know. I lack dedication and care for rs. I used to have all of that when i did not even have any 99's. I got a nice account but people in this clan and over rs make it look minuscule. I never did the best methods to obtaining good stats or bank, but if i wanted something, i got it when i was very attached to rs. 
Currently i am bowling on fridays  and have no current functioning laptop so i need to type through this ancient desktop from 2002. I hope i do well in college and become successful at computer networking someday. I never get on the forums to post, i am sorry i do not. I just have nothing to reply about or have little similarities or relations with the clan overall =/.

I've known about Consentus for a while and for me it's always been a battle between Hopefull and Consentus. I was in Hopefull for a good few months before I joined Consentus and what finally pushed me towards joining was the fact that my new account was not allowed to join Hopefull even though my other account was already in there.

Oooh, I haven't posted in here yet.

Basically I became apart of Saints in November 2010. I got along well with a lot of the members, became good friends with many of the people and was a well known face in the friends chat. I eventually got ranks in the clan and I saw the friends chat decline in visitors and familiar faces. It's pretty much a dead friends chat now, unfortunately.
Sometime in mid 2011 I heard Tara talking about how she was going to quit Consentus and make a clan chat for Saints. I briefly visited Consentus then and I saw people, particularly Lilly upset about her leaving and wishing her all the best. The Saints clan chat of course didn't really last long and she was soon back in Consentus.

I've known Stijn from Saints and recognised him for his "Fox" names he went with back then. I became friends with him but we didn't really speak much. However, sometime in August I saw him in w60 Vwb and we talked to each other a lot in there and became closer friends. He told me about Consentus, explained what the clan was like and said I should join. I told him I'd consider it.
In late August we both planned on making brand new skillers together - I made "Cuba Lily" and he made another account but he quit his after a few hours but I kept on using mine for about 2-3 months. I was guesting in the clan chat then and everyone was so nice and kind to each other - as well as welcoming to me. People were joking about saying "oh look another Lilly!" (due to both of our names having Lily/Lilly in it) and people saying "there's only room for one Lilly." but me being new, I took it to heart but when people in the clan realised they told me they were only joking.
After this I really wanted to join and I joined the old forums but I was upset I didn't reach requirements. Stijn (and Lilly as well I think) told me I could apply on another account that reached the requirements and then be ranked in the clan chat on Cuba Lily - so that's what I did.

A day after my birthday, the new forums were made and I made an account for these forums which are still up and running. Sometime during my time in the clan (early-mid September) I joined Consentus Skype calls and got to know/talk to some people that way. Lilly was talking about RuneFest and I found out all the details. She insisted I should come but I was hesitant and wary about my Mum approving - Lilly said she'd talk to my Mum via Skype call.
I explained everything to my Mum and at first it was an adamant no. She was shocked how I was asking to go to London with a bunch of people from the Internet I didn't know and refused to talk to Lilly. I begged and kept asking - she eventually reluctantly agreed but seemed quite pissed off. This was on a Sunday and Lilly never used Skype on a Sunday but after explaining the situation to Lilly with my Mum she came online and spoke to my Mum. When my Mum heard Lilly's voice and reasonable explanation - also saying how she was a Mother and could understand exactly how my Mum felt my Mum softened. Lilly also offered to come up to my house a week before the event so my Mum could personally meet her beforehand. My Mum seemed quite content after the call and agreed to it with a much happier attitude.
When Lilly and Ruby came up a week beforehand, my Mum answered the door and with those 2 in the kitchen I was too shy to come downstairs lol. I eventually went down the stairs and saw Lilly and Ruby - Lilly talking to my Mum and Ruby standing there. Lilly turned around, said "Hello!" and gave me a hug. Ruby then also gave me a hug afterwards. I was alright after that. A few hours of my Mum and Lilly talking like how Mums do lol they both left and I was really happy with how the meeting went.

I've seen many people come and go, made many friends and lost some. I've met quite a few people in real life and some people in this clan I can honestly say are my friends for life. Real life events are one of my favourite aspects of Consentus and I try to make it to every one. I'm probably the person who gets the most excited for the events - I love them so much and I love meeting everyone face to face.

Without Stijn, I would've never joined this clan and without both Stijn and Lilly I probably wouldn't have stayed for as long as I have. I do love this clan and I see Consentus as my second family.
