I'm starting this thread to give members a chance to tell people their joining Consentus stories.

When I joined Consentus I was just back to RS after a few years at uni and work. I kinda forgot about it and the rediscovery was a joy.

When I first entered the clan chat I thought "oh no, everyone knows each other, I'm buggered." but I started talking and joining in with general banter as much as possible. I also didn't wait for people to ask my name, I introduced myself repeatedly. I'm sure people were a bit irritated by that but they started to remember me.

I logged on to the forums and started joining in with conversations and enjoyed the banter on there. I also started to get to know a few members a bit better.

Then there was Alton Towers. 12 hours in a car with Greg (Tenzah) is enough to drive anyone up the wall but I started to put names and faces to RSNs (except Dan's because HE KEEPS CHANGING HIS!)

I enjoy Consentus but I feel a little put out when I see peoples' leaving posts where they say they were treated like nothing. I'm sorry folks, we must not have ended up chatting together. If we did talk then I'm sorry it wasn't enough for you. I try to say hey to everyone who says hi when they come online. I think I must have started quite a few conversations by replying to hellos before people really replied to mine. It's not out of malice, it's just the same as any other new environment. The clan is a great place to be and we don't like to make people feel left out, however, sometimes we don't know what's in your head to please tell us!

Please put yourself out there, I want to get to know you all!

Now, I apologise for this ramble. Could members maybe post how they feel they ended up being integrated into the clan just to help some of the newer members? Maybe you can also tell us what is missing from Consentus for you? what do you want out of it?

Sorry Emma, I just cant find a name that will stick, and Alton Towers was Amazing, and you will be able to confirm my RSN to Face next month as I have a name lined up  8)

Going to try and make this brief cause I can ramble on and on ;D

Joined Consentus in December ish 2011, recruited by Runar.

Didn't do anything till Lilly pm'd me asking why. Reason being I love playing RS afk, and was doing other things while playing such as studying for university. I have been in a few clans before (since the major clan update) but they were all inactive and I never bothered with them.

Signed up to the forums in March, and finally started engaging with other members in the clan chat a bit more.

Broke out of my shell, and suddenly became known as the perverted member. Woop.

Joined Skype calls in July ish. Apparently I flirt all the time.

Went to Alton Towers and met a whole bunch of new people. Emma loved my antics. Abbie rages at me cause she is the devil... and Rob <3 The northern car crew.

Skype calls got more perverted, my bad.

Met up Lilly, Emma, Ruby, Rob and Dec earlier this month. Strange things happened...

Left RS also earlier this month, but continue to pop on the forums frequently and in the clan chat just to see how things are going.

I used to speak to Beautiful B/Bex/one of the founders quite a bit back in 2011 before she disappeared.
I also hung in Saints which a few members branched off of and joined Consentus the autumn of 2010. Then I basically joined every clan Bex joined cause I liked to talk to her and other clans was boring, and she told me about Cts april 5th 2011 and I joined and kept talking to people, actually got to know a few of the people.

Then one thing lead to another and I'm where I am today.

My story isn't that big of a deal, just simple like that. =P

Been here for too long, posting a thread about my story the past year and 5 months will take a couple weeks. 8)

When I joined Consentus, I remember that I was Runecrafting Astrals at the time, I decided to guest into the clan chat to see what kind of people were in the clan, I have to say I was a bit scared at the time, never being part of a clan before and only building one with mates for the Clan Cape.

I Joined the Skype Night later on in that Evening I joined Consentus, not expecting what it would be like, I manged to get to speak to a few people and introduce myself, everyone acknowledged that I was a RuneScape Noob, and still am today. Since I have been in Consentus, i've had so many account and FINALLY decided to stick with my better one.

Signing up to the Forums was one of the best things ever, knowing that I already had the rank to become a Member made me even happier.  ;D
I got accepted into the clan by Robb and Invited by Iuro, but I knew then that my work isn't done. I Decided to go for Consentus Elite Rank and still going for it today.

I decided to give it a week on how I felt in Consentus, and it turned out me staying permanently and still here today, I will have been in Consentus a YEAR! on the 18th of next Month, .

Around 6 Months time of being in Consentus I was Promoted to Outstanding Rank and 2 Months after that Citadel Staff, but with me not knowing much about the citadel I decided to Resign from staff, I'm back to being a Member and hope to be Outstanding again sometime.

In the time of me being in Consentus I've gained 4 99's on different account which was a silly and pathetic thing to do, why didn't I realise and stick to the one bloody account..  :laser:

I may have had a few spits and spats with other members of Consentus but whats happened has happened and all I can say is that i'm very sorry for what I've done.

I recruited my Best friend into Consentus, Iain who loves it here as much as I do, and him and I recruited PewPewFr0st who is a VERY quiet person.

At the new years Lottery I didn't it that I would win the 78.25m Pot, with a ';O' face i accepted the trade with Lilly and bought a few skills and payed back Iain from the 16m he lent me for 99 magic.

I've gained a lot of friendship through Consentus and hope to stay friends with you all for my lifetime, as we can all say, Gamers4lyfe.

OK, i'll start at the beginning.

The Day i discovered Consentus

SOOO 4-5 months ago i was f2p, just chilling, smithing iron ingot i's at artisans workshop, getting the beastly and cheap 30k exp/hr, when one day i met Zach (melvl138), i thought he was a peculiar guy, very polite and nice, he told me about his life and sent me off to read his RsOF thread about his life, both IRL and on RS, i found it very interesting and you can probably still find my post there now :) Then he introduced me to Consentus. I really didn't know any major skilling clans, didn't even know they existed,i joined it as a guest regularly at the time, i was in Dg Family at the time, however i left Dg Family for some reason i have forgotten and went P2P joining my friends clan, soon later the clan disbanded, most of them quit, so it was just Ben and I, a beautiful couple roaming the streets of Runescape.

The Rediscovery
I had forgotten Consentus at the time as i never saw Zach anymore, however one magical day i was buying my skiller friend battle staffs, and Sarah (Only Sarahh) asks her to join a clan, I asked what clan it was and she said Consentus, i remembered it straight away so i googled the name on forums straight away and applied.

My time in the clan

Kind Mathi then proceeded to inviting me to the clan, i remember the day clearly, him telling me to go to yanille bank, me lodestoning there, he was there cooking for rocks i believe with an avatar and other Cts members around him, I was excited the whole day, excited by the thrill of being in such an epic clan, a few days later i got the requirements for an elite ranking :)

Now that i was in Consentus i tried numerous times to convince Ben (Uffin) to join the clan, for weeks he thought you had to pay to join...

What i love about Consentus

I love the mostly friendly community and vibe in this clan, everyone's always nice to me, however it is sad to see a handful of members leaving :(

I also like the nickname Emma gave me, not dave dave

I also always thought that Emma and Rubes were both skillers, and was extremely amazed when i saw they weren't


Conclusion

So I'm fairly new to Consentus however I'm loving it and hoping i will fit in perfectly, i have made many new friends and already have many memories i'll keep for times to come

I was operating clanless for a majority of my time on rs. I spoke with the limited friends I had (from previous clans I had been in that died), but then I hit a horrible time in my rs career.  I began to realize that these people that I had "known" for upwards of 4 years had been killing me slowly in rs. I had been killed, scammed, copied, and harassed for all this time and never realized what was going on, because I kept thinking...these are my friends, who else would I talk to?

I don't remember how I met Air (Tucker), but he spoke about a clan named Saints. I visited this chat quite often, made friends with some of the people in there, I remember Josh, and Tara, and Air specifically, maybe Heph (Andrew) as well. I spent awhile in this chat, but they began to have problems of their own. I don't quite know the whole story but it fell apart in front of me, somehow I thought I was to blame (though I had nothing to do with it) It seemed every clan I ever was in died.

After this happened, I asked Air if he found somewhere else to go, and he showed me into Consentus. I joined the chat frequently and was a little bit taken back by how much everyone already knew each other... I thought I didn't have a chance to be a part of this place.

I don't think they had forums at the time I had joined, but when they were added, I thought it was a great thing! I used this, as other people did to talk about rl things and get feedback or advice... or just share experiences with them which was very helpful to me. I felt as if people cared for me even though they didn't even know who I was. I knew that this is the only clan I would ever be in again.

Though I may have left the clan once or twice, I have always returned. I have always stayed a part of the forums since they were around, and I have always been as helpful to answer questions as I can from what I have done on rs.  This is a great atmosphere, and there are plenty of other clans out there, and I even tried to join one when I left here... Again, it was a new place where everyone knew each other from the start, and I realized that I never should have left the place that has grown to know me so much.

I guess I will say that sometimes the chat dips into topics that I may not agree with, but it seems a part of some of your lives, and I respect that and tend to keep my opinion to myself.  Minor example, I don't drink alcohol. Anyway together you have built a wonderful community of both skillers and combaters alike and I think that we are full speed ahead these days. Between all of the skill wars, 99 parties, congrats on every level gained no matter how low, GOP and other minigame events, I think that nobody is left out!

Much work has been put into this clan, as well as into the forums. I don't think every member fully uses the forums, or knows how much can be gained from them both IRL and RS.

That's all I got, seemed pretty long... not sure that I would even read it again...  :o

I can't remember who referred me too Consentus, but I think it was Herblorius. At the time I hung around in Saints after a long time of quitting RS. I have always been fond of skilling and skillers so that's why I loved the idea of a skiller chat.

Once I joined cts it felt good pretty quickly, of course it took a little while to get to know eachother and break the line that separated me from the circles that had formed. I remember very well crafting in Edgeville with Aaron and Jordan, we got off quite well right away and I just thought they were awesome people haha. From there it was just a big rollercoaster ride with alot of memorable moments. I've had huge ups and downs with people in this clan, and the clan itself. I've seen people come and go, which, being the protective person that I am, was hard at times and still is.

Once I got asked for the position of clan chat moderator I felt like I was on top of the world. It felt great to finally be able to do something for the clan, apart from now and then making a youtube video. Then the break up happened, alot of drama and I was not there to witness it due to my basketball game. From what I had heard from members and from Lilly I felt that I could not leave Lilly like that. I will admit that this is also due to the way "Renatus" was being founded. Slowly but surely the clan built up again, old members came back and it was better then ever.

I got my global mod rank. Another great time in my consentus carreer, if you will. Although this promotion carried a bit more responsibility, which I had not immediatly foreseen. Still, I loved my time as a global mod. Then my stupid self decided to leave the clan, for reasons I will not get into to deep, I will say that the reasons you have seen people in the past leave have pretty much all crossed my mind.

After my return things weren't the same. It felt different. Some time went by, lots of things changed, mostly in real life. Again I was feeling bad about how I was dealing with things and how the staff was dealing with things, I left again. This time with alot more drama because I did not hesitate to speak my mind this time.

My second return was a little less smooth, but I know that the people who make this clan a family for me I can not Scape without.
The clan isn't what it used to be, but it still remains an exceptional and great clan. I wanna thank all the people that have given me the family feel through the time I've been here. And especially Dec for being there when I needed him most.

Once apon a time, in a land far far away, a small, but powerful group of players all met up and decided to start a clan.. This clan was called 'Consentus'. Consentus was made by some of the most skilled players, and notorious badass's in the game we know as Runescape, but they were missing something. Someone with raw talent, courage, passion, honour.. and most of all a large massive PE-n holder. They searched far and wide for this brave warrior, until one day one of the founders called Bex stumbled across said man. Legend has it he was Son of Zyzz, born from the love of Aesthetics and partying and he was invited into the family of Consentus. Worshiped by all players that have come and gone, he is a god among men.




That's how We found Runar anyway. I got invited by Bex just after Consentus was formed.

How i got into Consentus: I was randomly looking around the runescape forums and saw a goals and achievements thread by a player named 10hp Filth or something a long those lines, I read the pages and saw a post from another user saying 'Awesome to see this thread i've been following you're vids for a long time'. I decided to have a look at this player's youtube account and saw a progress video, in this video he showed his stats bank and many other details of the account then I saw one of the most important visions of my runescape career, I saw a clan named Consentus.
          I looked into the clan on the runescape forums and found out the req's for the clan. I was so pleased when I saw that I fulfilled the requirements and I decided to leave an application. When it was accepted I was extremely happy and became a part of the family straight away.
          Since that day I've spent a lot of time and put a lot of my blood sweat and tears into the clan. On the day of May 26th I got back from a long day of college and logged straight onto the forums. To my delight I had a private message from clan owner Lilly with regards to my hard work. I had been rewarded with the outstanding rank. As soon as I received my rank I was heavily put under scrutiny by many some of the members of consentus for being a suck up and being a owners pet pretty much. It hurt me to think that I was being put in this position but I bounced back out of it and said so what people were just jealous, and had back up from many members.
          On August 4th I went to my first real life event. I got the train down to Leicester to meet the Woodward family, as Lilly and others will tell you it was a hectic journey, but one i'll never forget, I met one of my closest friends there (Ruby) and met other fellow clan mates. Tommy, Matt, Vin and Lily's son Aydan. The event was amazing I enjoyed myself thoroughly, I met some truly amazing people and some people just seemed to ignore or look down at me but meh I don't need people like that in my life, so therefore I simply ignored them. I had to make some difficult decisions after the event but its helped me grow as a person/friend and a clanmate.
          A month and a half on, I am still a very involved clan mate however my college year resit has taken a lot of time up.

That is my consentus story I have met truly amazing people, some I will never forget and never keep out of contact. But also a few members that I will happily ignore and not talk to as I dont need ignorance in my life.

^Short version posted earleir; here's the long story... behold the amazingly boring story of le Noobar.

SAINTS:

Okayyyy, so I started my journey with clans in Saints, around August 2010. My IRL friend called Hopeful from Rs, you probs heard of him cause I mention him a lot, he got 99 slay as a level 3, yeah he told me about Saints, and I joined. Their forums were kind of awkward, but I liked them.
I met lots of great people here, Mio, D1D and a bunch of others, like Tara and Josh. Then I started being absent from Saints, and next chapter begun...


PEACEFULL:

Joined in October, hang around there still and talk to friends.


HOPEFULL:

I joined Hopefull in 2010 too, it was great being in a clan full of skillers, got to know a lot of people, and I liked it there over the next year, but after the new years eve of 2011 when we entered 2012 and Jack resigned as an admin, it went down the shitter. Not going to talk more about it, the clan is just awful now.


Enlightened:

After Hopefull, I joined Enlightened in February 2011, met a few people there I still talk to up to this day, Casuals, Megapixels, Nubb whom is a Norwegian guy I talk to quite often. ^^ I joined because of Bex, of  course.

Then I left there and hung around in Hopefull until April the 5th..


Le amazing Consentus journeyyy!!!!!

on April 5th I had been clanless for some time, I kept hopping accs so I never really met the reqs to join any clans. I was a big noob and I spoke to Bex again, who told me about Consentus, and told me to join the Friends' Chat, Cc Cts.

As soon as she said this I was like "Dafuq, D1D told me about this like 9 months ago", which was true. In October, he told me to join Cc Cts, but I left a few hrs later and forgot about it. :(

I started chatting with people and instantly started loving the atmosphere, made great friends with Stijn and a couple others that helped me out loads and everyone in the clan started teasing me for hopping accounts so much. This motivated me to continue and in August I started a skiller who would turn into the acc I played the longest (August to March) and then quit to start this Skiller from March to Sept still going strong.

I fell out with the clan because I was what people call a troll, I loved to cause problems but I was only 14 and 15 at the time, I was extremely immature and I had and still have very strong opinions about things that are my own and I like to share them.

This got me banned a couple times, but I always got a new chance thanks to Lilly and Dec and the staff team. People started getting annoyed since I kept coming back after being rude countless times, and if I could go back a couple years and change one thing it would be my attitude throughout my clan journey.

Just the fact I've been given countless chances is insane, and I also consider it a good thing of me to always come back, shows how much I truly care :p

That's the story, that's the true story of my clan adventures and my time in Consentus.

from there the friendship of lilly and i ensued, namely being completely lost and barmy.
she told me to put my application in completely the wrong place :P

since then i have been proudly stalking your forums and hoppin into chat now and then toharass :p

It's hard to get involved but once your known it's really easy, I have people saying hi to me in the chat and if i'm honest i don't know who they are

My advice is to never expect members to say hi to you, if you want to make the impression and the friends, you have to make the effort

It's a nice clan :)

Quite good friends with lilly, apparently I am quite mature o.O...not in real life though :P

I can't remember when/why I joined but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Lilly asking me. I *think* I was still in Clan Peacefull which was dying out so I needed a new clan. Although I left for a long time after the whole 'Renatus' clan started when Cts was falling apart but then I rejoined several months after.

Oh and I left the other day when everyone was mad at me about the avatar, so I've decided to steer clear of it, but I'm glad I am still in Cts after all this time. Especially when I got to meet everyone for this first time, like Runefest and AT/TP and Go Ape. :D

That's a real shame, I haven't seen that happen before but it seems when you came back you were allowed to stay and it looks like you have been here ever since? :)

I'm all for sharing the stories good and bad but could you fill us in on as much of both sides of the story as possible please?

How I joined Consentus...

Well I guess there would probably need to be some background first, so here goes. I used to be part of Saints. I loved that place, made great friends, had been there since the first week, and it was a good experience. Sadly though, things started to take a turn for the worst in the clan, so I decided to leave after having been a general for year and a half or so.  I then went looking for other clans and decided to give Pcfl a try. After all, back in the day, it was one of the impressive and/or elite ones. I stayed for a couple months, I believe, and liked it in general. It wasn't really the same, though. I did meet lots of cool people there, however, including Mr. Declan, Novak, Lilly, At Ge, Twix, and many others.

So one day, Lilly told me she was fed up with Pcfl (Peacefull) and wanted to break off into a new clan, and that she, Tara, and Bex were going to be the co-owners if I wanted to join too. So I was like, sure, I can give it a try. I liked the feel a lot more and soon a lot of my old friends, from both Saints (Mono Mono and Dago, among others) and Pcfl were joining too, and I've been here ever since. Which is since it started, really. I also really liked the Consentus forums and used them quite often. I did not make a new account when we got new forums, however. I was starting college in the US in the fall of 2011, and I was trying to step away from RS for awhile, so I wanted to have as few things bringing me back as possible. And it worked, I guess. It made it a lot easier to focus on studies. I did miss the community, though, and popped in every once and awhile in the chat. Decided I'd go ahead and make a new forums account during Christmas break this year since it's my second year and I have a better feel of college now.

But anyway, that's how I joined Consentus, and I'm very glad to see it's still around. :)

I joined consentus last October cos I'd watched Cody(Iuro's) vids for a while and he said he was part of a skilling clan so I inquired and joined. Many of the people in the clan at the time had come from Hopefull or some other skilling clan so it was quite different.  I made my G&A soon after and I'm glad it's still going :p I was fairly quiet and was surprised when I was promoted to Outstanding. Soon after that there was talk of starting up the citadel so I offered to run it and did. I ran it alone with some short lasting partners but none lasted very long ;p Then Mathi joined and helped me out :) I stepped down soon after and left the chat.
Now I just spend time on the forums and pop into the cc every now and then :)

I joined consentus probably a month or two after it was out. I did not know many members at all that were part of "saints" or "peaceful" or even hopeful who had left to join. I was one of four who founded hopeful. Before hopeful i was just some random noob hopeing to make it big as an ftp skiller. I had a skiller before hot sub, and eventually got combat. "Energized U" was the name. Tried hot sub for quite a time. I was part of "bliszful" friends chat forever it seemed. I met many awesome people like "bliszful" "lvl3 skater" "Maybe Im Ok" "Ohs" "Triforce165" "Rie___XIE__X". My Idol was Miner I.  I never really met him but he had awesome smithing xp and had earned quite a wealth stack being lvl 3 ftp. Skillers were rare characters before 2008. Things were harder to obtain before jagex influenced rs with its many updates that changed the course of the game. I miss those times when mining and other skills took time and detication to get. It was not always about getting pixels or skillcapes. I eventually feel into that trap on hot sub getting 99 mining and the skillcape. I was an amazing ftp skiller before that. I did make another skiller "Wispy One" but i lost interest into rs overall.. even when i went into questing crazes.  :'(

To this day, i am never on rs much. Maybe because i needed more quests to do for recipe for disaster? I don't know. I lack dedication and care for rs. I used to have all of that when i did not even have any 99's. I got a nice account but people in this clan and over rs make it look minuscule. I never did the best methods to obtaining good stats or bank, but if i wanted something, i got it when i was very attached to rs.  :)
Currently i am bowling on fridays  ;D and have no current functioning laptop so i need to type through this ancient desktop from 2002. I hope i do well in college and become successful at computer networking someday. I never get on the forums to post, i am sorry i do not. I just have nothing to reply about or have little similarities or relations with the clan overall =/.

I've known about Consentus for a while and for me it's always been a battle between Hopefull and Consentus. I was in Hopefull for a good few months before I joined Consentus and what finally pushed me towards joining was the fact that my new account was not allowed to join Hopefull even though my other account was already in there.

Oooh, I haven't posted in here yet.

Basically I became apart of Saints in November 2010. I got along well with a lot of the members, became good friends with many of the people and was a well known face in the friends chat. I eventually got ranks in the clan and I saw the friends chat decline in visitors and familiar faces. It's pretty much a dead friends chat now, unfortunately.
Sometime in mid 2011 I heard Tara talking about how she was going to quit Consentus and make a clan chat for Saints. I briefly visited Consentus then and I saw people, particularly Lilly upset about her leaving and wishing her all the best. The Saints clan chat of course didn't really last long and she was soon back in Consentus.

I've known Stijn from Saints and recognised him for his "Fox" names he went with back then. I became friends with him but we didn't really speak much. However, sometime in August I saw him in w60 Vwb and we talked to each other a lot in there and became closer friends. He told me about Consentus, explained what the clan was like and said I should join. I told him I'd consider it.
In late August we both planned on making brand new skillers together - I made "Cuba Lily" and he made another account but he quit his after a few hours but I kept on using mine for about 2-3 months. I was guesting in the clan chat then and everyone was so nice and kind to each other - as well as welcoming to me. People were joking about saying "oh look another Lilly!" (due to both of our names having Lily/Lilly in it) and people saying "there's only room for one Lilly." but me being new, I took it to heart but when people in the clan realised they told me they were only joking.
After this I really wanted to join and I joined the old forums but I was upset I didn't reach requirements. Stijn (and Lilly as well I think) told me I could apply on another account that reached the requirements and then be ranked in the clan chat on Cuba Lily - so that's what I did.

A day after my birthday, the new forums were made and I made an account for these forums which are still up and running. Sometime during my time in the clan (early-mid September) I joined Consentus Skype calls and got to know/talk to some people that way. Lilly was talking about RuneFest and I found out all the details. She insisted I should come but I was hesitant and wary about my Mum approving - Lilly said she'd talk to my Mum via Skype call.
I explained everything to my Mum and at first it was an adamant no. She was shocked how I was asking to go to London with a bunch of people from the Internet I didn't know and refused to talk to Lilly. I begged and kept asking - she eventually reluctantly agreed but seemed quite pissed off. This was on a Sunday and Lilly never used Skype on a Sunday but after explaining the situation to Lilly with my Mum she came online and spoke to my Mum. When my Mum heard Lilly's voice and reasonable explanation - also saying how she was a Mother and could understand exactly how my Mum felt my Mum softened. Lilly also offered to come up to my house a week before the event so my Mum could personally meet her beforehand. My Mum seemed quite content after the call and agreed to it with a much happier attitude.
When Lilly and Ruby came up a week beforehand, my Mum answered the door and with those 2 in the kitchen I was too shy to come downstairs lol. I eventually went down the stairs and saw Lilly and Ruby - Lilly talking to my Mum and Ruby standing there. Lilly turned around, said "Hello!" and gave me a hug. Ruby then also gave me a hug afterwards. I was alright after that. :P A few hours of my Mum and Lilly talking like how Mums do lol they both left and I was really happy with how the meeting went.

I've seen many people come and go, made many friends and lost some. I've met quite a few people in real life and some people in this clan I can honestly say are my friends for life. Real life events are one of my favourite aspects of Consentus and I try to make it to every one. I'm probably the person who gets the most excited for the events - I love them so much and I love meeting everyone face to face.

Without Stijn, I would've never joined this clan and without both Stijn and Lilly I probably wouldn't have stayed for as long as I have. I do love this clan and I see Consentus as my second family. <3

Oki here's my story ^_^

When clans first came out, I thought of making a simple clan just for me and my friends. We called our clan Skull
All I did in Runescape at that time was PKing, so our clan was all about wildy and w57, solo PKing, group PKing, chasing and clan wars

I enjoyed PKing with my friends since 2008. Believe it or not, I had the honor to meet and fight many famous PKers in Runescape such as l LionHart l, 0wnz of Fury, Mx, Telly (and her twin sister), Most Dreaded, Sudan, Isa Albania, 1mpure Elf, Egyptiio and many others who I can't remember their names

Many of them quitted due to many reasons, so the clan was dead by 2012

I joined w25's Royals of FOG for about 2 monthes then left after the EOC update as it was dead right after it
EOC had officially ended my PKing days, as low defence never worked great for me

In August 2012, a friend of mine whose RSN was Musho talked to me about this clan, how organised it was and the people in it
I was also surprised to hear that the clan had an official forum that I could sign up on to get an invitation
I signed up and applied on September 4th 2012, then quitted to concentrate on my studies. I was never active on the forum or Runescape until June 12th 2013 after I got back to Egypt

I don't know if Musho still plays or has quitted, but I can never repay him this, so thank you so much :)

I've liked Consentus since the first time I've heard about it, I've spent such an interesting time with you guys in these past monthes and I look forward to spending more time with you in the future, Consentus has always been my second family <33

Any friendship is temporary, no matter how strong it is. But families, they last forever ;)

I'm quite surprised that I haven't written something on this thread. Well, here goes..

My Runescape career started way back in 2003 when I first heard of the game through friends. I played as a regular main account, not achieving anything noteworthy. This interest ended around 2007, due to the game not being popular amongst my friends.

When I attended University, starting in 2010, I found myself with a lot more free time. Looking back through the nostalgia of games I used to play I found myself back on Runescape. By watching videos on YouTube, I decided that making a Skiller seemed like a great idea since I disliked combat training. Thus, Tommykillme was created.

My account started its first year of life as pure free to play. I have no clue how I survived this. Eventually getting members in 2011, I set myself on the task of maxing as a Skiller. This will still take me many years.

Becoming active in the skilling community, I found myself swiftly rising through the ranks of Clan Hopefull to the position of Administrator. During this period I began speaking to Lilly on clan related terms, such as clan wars and banning. This was bless fully turned in to a friendship. Lilly supported me when I became down and fed up of my role in the clan. This kind offering of a shoulder to lean/cry on is something rarely seen in the Skiller community.

When time came, I joined Consentus fully. I remember the first impression I had of Consentus was, woah everyone is very personal with each other. This is what I loved and still love about Consentus, the strong and close bonds we all make with each other.

Lilly being the kind soul she is gave me both a home and the greatest friends.

Ok this is my story.

I started playing RuneScape early this year. My partner told me that i would like this game but i wasn't to sure. He gave me one of he's old accounts to try out and see if i like it. I never really played any mmo games before, so this is my first, i'm more of a sports gamer to be honest.

Then a few weeks went bye and i really started to like it, there wasn't much people being mean everyone was nice and helpful, i was soloing it at the time i wasn't in a clan or anything just having fun. I asked my partner if i can create my own account but then he told me: (well now that you like it you can have that account cause i don't play anymore and i don't want it going to waste). Then he told me about how do i think about going into a clan. 

To be honest i didn't really know how i would like it, i mean i never been in one before i have no idea if there is anything i need to do, i was really clueless about the whole thing. One day we spent the whole day looking to see if there are any clans that i might like to join, so we looked up on youtube and the we found Consentus. looked up on the videos and all, checked out the forums and joined the guest chat on rs. i liked how everyone was nice and friendly so i asked to join. i didn't meet the requirements at first so i tried my best to meet them, took me awhile but told myself that it is worth it.

Now look I've been in this clan for awhile now and i love it everyone is nice and friendly it's a big family to me not a clan.

To all that mad this clan family happen I'am grateful for you to put in the effort and time into it. Family Consentus forever ^_^

I started playing Runescape back in year 6, when I moved to a different school and everyone in that year was playing it. I never knew what it was but my best friend at the time came round my house, he was on it and I loved the look of it. So then I went on to make my own account that day which I still have now but do not play.

I found out what a skiller was and I decided to make one along with my friend, he played it so much more than me at the time because we had a family shared computer and I couldn't get on because sisters were always doing school work-.- but when I got on I managed to gain a few levels. After making account upon account, skillers upon skillers I finally made one which was known as Saint Conn x at the time. This is when I found out about Consentus, I was in the Saints Skilling clan a long time ago and I can't remember who it was but someone mentioned Consentus, I decided to join and see what it was like. Since that moment I have fell in love.

After being in Consentus for around 2-3 years, can't remember exactly I have never been a member because I am too lazy to get the requirements and I keep making new accounts! Now though with my new account, I believe I am going to stick to. Hopefully one day I will be able to become a member of the clan;)

Met so many good people within the clan and very good friends within the clan as well. I hope in my time to come there is a lot more people that I will meet and become good friends with to.

That's how I started RS and Consentus.

I played for a long time without a clan.  Actually started looking into clans when I was trying to level crafting and heard about citadels.  I joined a clan that I really liked but there were two issues.  One was there was a lot of drama - and people disappeared and there were kind of people who knew what was going on and rumors.  I didn't get involved in a lot of that - on at odd hours - but it was kind of hard to have people you skilled with or grew to like a lot all of a sudden leave - and a lot of people I became friends with would get very frustrated at the veil of silence or would leave when people they liked were kicked and people didn't always know why.  The other issue was it was an adult clan.  They didn't allow members under 18 and at the time my oldest was 16. 
  I wound up taking about a 3 month hiatus from Runescape (my health issues have been worse for a year or two - hoping that will turn around but sorry - I am having these flare-ups...) and when I got back I was really surprised to see I had been kicked.  I talked to some people I knew in the clan - some didn't realize I had been kicked, others were surprised because there were people who had been in the clan and been gone much longer who were still in - although I had only been in the clan about a year and change - I had been pretty active - I finally got a hold of a clan owner.  He said that they just went through a massive clean-up and I had gotten caught in the net - and that he felt bad - but he didn't offer me a spot back - a lot of the people I had been friends with had changed clans - and I kind of felt it was an opportunity to look for a more permanent home.
  I posted in the RS forums under clans wanted.  I said upfront I wanted a clan that my kids eventually could be in - that was low drama - that was not high pressure - and that would be ok if I needed to take breaks.  I got a bunch of responses.  I talked to several of the recruiters but Lily's post really stood out immediately - and I, from the start, selected Consentus.  I have been very happy here.
  I like the transparency, the friendliness, and the openness.  I appreciate that you guys have let my kids remain members even though they kind of have short attention spans (and honestly play rs mostly because I like it - it is not really their style - hopefully that will change!

I didn't even know this existed lol. May as well bore some people with my story, im no good at "stories" :P

I joined in February this year after spending days looking through the RSOF at many, many clans. Something made me keep coming back to the Consentus thread so I thought I'd give it a go. I joined the clan chat to see what was what. Lilly was very welcoming along with a few others. I lingered around as a guest for a while before being directed to the off-site forum, which to this day, is the best clan forum I've seen. I was then invited to the clan by Robert. Back in the clan, everyone seemed to know each other quite well, which is always a bit intimidating for new people. Then there was the Haven event in April, which i was invited to. I had only been in the clan for perhaps 5-6 weeks but i thought "no better way to get to know people than actually meeting them". The nerves of meeting everyone soon died down when i first met Lilly and Ruby outside the bus station and after meeting everyone else, the group just felt "right". I've been stuck here since :)

I joined the clan back in September 2012 after meeting a few skillers and noticing they all had that Consentus banner on their adventurer's log, but back then on adventurer's log we could only see the clan banner not the name or a link to the clan page, so after some time searching, because i was too shy to ask anyone what the name of the clan was, i finally found it and joined.

At first was hard to try to get involved since there were many groups of friends already, everyone knew each other i was new so only had a chat with a few members nothing much really. For around one year between April 2013 to May 2014 I was away from runescape and from the clan.

Early this year I came back with the will to play and be active in the clan and so far think I'm doing just that, achieved some goals with the help of the support people give on the G&A's thread, finally was able to properly get to know some members of the clan and  talk with everyone more frequently and was with great proud the first Consentus member from aboard to attend a real life event, made some great friends here and hope to continue for as long as the clan lasts (hope the friendships last longer though).

4 years ago I was in a different clan with some of the Consentus oldtimers. I didn't really know anyone and the clan was infected by trolls. Lilly was one of the few individuals who made an effort to keep a sinking ship afloat. Alas, she was fighting a battle that was already lost, but her commitment did not go unnoticed. I was rarely in the CC so I didn't know that she had created a new clan until I was invited a week later. I felt privileged because I knew her words were pure and Consentus' values morally bestowing. At this time, multi-clanning was common and most of us were still in both clans, but it wasn't long until trolls were attacking the new clan and its members. When the old clan's leaders refused to take action against such juvenile behavior, I no longer wished to be associated with them. I rejoice in the spiteful words that were thrown – how Consentus wouldn't last long as a clan etc – because Lilly and the many great staff members proved them wrong and we still keep growing. I personally believe that the trolling attitude caused the old clan's demise and I let that serve as a reminder why one shouldn't condone such behavior. Respect one another and try to be patient if you don't share an opinion

I dont even remember who told me about this clan .I was in a few different clans that seem to end up failing or ended up  accusing me of doing stuff they knew nothing about.  i also got accusing  by a player mod of doing some rude  behavior in her friend chat and when i explained what was happening she told me  she was "not  intitled to babysit her Friends chat". You might even know her. She was 3 and was pure f2p with mad rc level.  Clan hopefull ended up assuming me of the same thing even before i ever set foot in the clan chat.I forget who told me i was banned fro clan hopefull.     I even ended up as a  clan leader for some time. totaling  up  to 5 or 6 clan snice starting  my acc

At the time I heard about this clan from a friend, I was in the midst of running a clan myself. Unfortunately, things didn't work out as the owner of the clan decided to take a long break without giving a crap; all structure in the clan was lost - Events were going downhill and there was little to no activity.

Fast forwarding to around November/December, Lilly gave our clan an option, to join consentus or to continue where I was (which was a crappy place), so of course I took the better offer! Myself and a few friends have moved on over to the clan since then, perhaps you know of a few? Mini Mog, Gnome Child, Eisv, etc.
At the start of joining the clan, y'all were so nice by being welcoming and friendly. It of course took me a wee bit of time to remember a few of your IRL names, but I've passed that now :D

So far, my entire time in Consentus has been a great one and I hope to stay in the clan til' RS ends :D Or I quit the game, which lets face it, who quits?

I learned about Consentus in December 2015 when I was working toward my goal of 99 Woodcutting (by cutting crystal trees). Only Lilly was there and so was the clan vexillum (so, so pretty). I was in a clan that I was in love with at the time, but sometimes clans change.
The person owning the clan was a good kid, but he generally seemed to lose interest in the clan and Runescape as a whole - many members noticed.
Recently due to this, a huge number of members left within ten days. Some of the members formed a new clan. I found this incredibly rude, and refused to join.
I decided to guest in Consentus, because I actually remembered Only Lilly, and I actually really enjoyed my time.
Although I am quite often quiet in the CC, I talk a lot.
So I joined the forums before I was off clan cooldown, and I've been having fun for the past 4-5 days.
I was a little put-off my the closeness of the clanmates at first - I won't lie. Everyone seemed to already know each other even on a first name basis, and I felt like an outcast. But now I know that if you want to be known and included, MAKE yourself known and included. :)

I'll post my story although I feel like I have in the past.

There was a different clan that was a skiller clan that most people in the Consentus beginnings were part of or familiar with. I was a guest in that clan, but I couldn't join because I was an 11/12 year old that had like 60 combat and was 30 levels too high for the clan. I still hung around, but wasn't a huge fan of it because there was a ton of trolling. That's where I met people like Lilly who start CTS. One day, I noticed that all the familiar nice people had left and so I started asking around. No one would respond to me besides telling me to shut up, but luckily a person named Lesiva messaged me and told me to join the new Consentus (I think it was cc cts at the time). After I joined, I noticed that all the people I had thought were nice or cool were in Consentus. I decided to stick around, especially since I could join even with combat. Everyone was very supportive of me working towards to goals even when I would quit an account and make a new one.

After being in CTS for a bit, I started to feel some animosity towards me so I made a new account and told everyone I was William. After the toxic person that was being mean to me left, I came out again and said I was Tim. I actually got banned after coming out as Tim, never really was sure why. It was only for like 2-3 months though. After that I joined Hopefull to wait out my ban and then returned to Consentus once the ban was up.

After being in the clan for some time I was given clan chat moderator (basically green staff now) and did that for a while. After some disagreements and accusations against me, I left and got banned again for another month or two. I obviously came back to Consentus afterwards because it's the best clan in the world.

Then after a few months being back, I became an avatar warden. Then at maybe a year, I was banned yet again because I had sold one of my old accounts to someone. This was the first ban that actually made sense to me, and I was banned permanently for it. After that, I quit Runescape for a long time, because I didn't have a home anymore.

About a year or so after being banned, I came back to Runescape and joined a now defunct clan called 99ftw. After that clan started degrading because the leader left and stuff like that, I decided I really missed CTS and would apply to be unbanned. It had been a year since I was banned, and I hoped that time would heal. Luckily, Lilly and the others decided that I could be given one last shot and I knew I wouldn't blow it.

Now, I've been back for over a year and I'm loving every minute of it. Consentus has been the one clan I've wanted to be in since it was started. I've made a lot of mistakes in the past that I regret, but luckily the family of Consentus is quick to forgive those who're sorry. Lilly has always been very kind to me even when I've not been so kind myself, and she's always willing to listen to music I suggest haha :D All the old people that used sort of bully me have either left or been banned, and I've been a model member for a while now. I don't even swear in the clan chat since I know that I'll be on thin ice for a while.

My story is kind of boring, and a little weird. 

I've played RS on and off since about 2005.  One of the main reasons I stop playing is because I don't have anyone to hang out with and do stuff with.  My problem is that communicating with strangers gives me an overwhelming sense of existential horror.  If I already have a reason to associate with someone, I don't have a problem talking and getting to know them.  But just walking up to someone and saying "Hi!  I'm Wrthlss Noob!  Nice to meet you?"  I just can't bring myself to do that.

I've been in clans before (even back before clans were officially a thing), but someone else always recruited me.  The problem was that these clans were always small and imploded easily.  And when they were gone, I would stop playing for a while.  As the years went on, clans didn't recruit as aggressively as they did, so I went without for quite a few years.  So, when I came back this time, my first thought is "I'm going to have to find a clan myself."  But it couldn't just be any random clan.  It had to be big enough to where it wasn't going to fall apart if one or two people quit playing, they had to do things, and the people had to be the "cute and fuzzy" type, or there was no conceivable way I was going to be able to bring myself to ask to join.

So I hit the RS forums and, honestly, your thread was the first one I came across.  150 pages of replies!  All bumps, but still, that means the clan is active.  Good sign.  Reading the thread, it says you started in 2010.  10 years?  That's some serious stability!  Stability is good.  Scrolling down, there were like two pages of events.  I'm like "wow, these guys do stuff!  More stuff than any clan I've ever been in!"  And at the bottom of the page, Only Lilly is like "Yeah, come on into the clan chat, check us out!"  (Not a direct quote; paraphrased for my particular linguistic weirdness)  So I come in and lurk for a bit.  Everyone's all cool, having fun, being nice to each other.  And I'm like "Yeah, I like this!  I'm going to say something!"

And then I don't.  A couple hours later, I'm like "I'm gonna say something now!"  And, of course, I don't again.  This goes on and on every couple hours over the next couple days, with the same result, until I finally type the words. 

And I'm staring at the enter key, thinking "the backspace key is literally right above it."  But then I think "Eh, what's the absolute worst that could happen?"  I imagine several hilariously ridiculous scenarios that may or may not have involved torches and pitchforks before finally hitting the enter key. 

And the rest is history.  Or the present, I guess.  Possibly a bit of the future as well.  Yeah, Ima shut up now.   :-#

@Wrthlss Noob your story almost brought a tear to my eyes. While on RS I eventually become a chatty person when I’m comfortable, I’m the exact same as you in real life. Looking strangers in the eyes is also part of my anxiety. Maybe that sounds familiar to you too.

It’s so great you’ve joined! You won’t regret it :) I can highly recommend the clan events. They really help with the initial conversations as it provides you with something to talk about. I look forward to meeting you at one of them.

I love my name.  I've had it since day one.  Never changed it even once!  I always wanted a high level character named "noob."   \:D/

Plus, it had the added benefit of stealing the thunder of the mean players who wanted to make fun of you for being low leveled, like they used to do back in the day.  When someone calls you a noob and you respond with something along the lines of "Just like it says on the tin!" most people don't know how to respond to that lol.  Now that I'm over 2600 total levels, it's a bit of an ironic joke.  My examine description says "Still a noob, formerly wrthlss."

@Wrthlss Noob glad you mentioned the formerly, certainly aren't worthless not with us around :P and dont worry I will always and still do claim to be the biggest Rs noob Hehe.

It took me way way way too long to join Consentus, was guesting for so many years I just couldn't let go of my old clan of 6 years. One thing I do know for sure I am finally at home ♥

I seen lilly at the grand exchange, examined her because i'm a creep and do that to people, seen her clan name, noticed she was sitting with other members of the clan and joined.

I was casually mining seren stones when my silverhawks activated and about 6 people congratulated me thinking I hit a milestone.  I examined and found you were all in the same clan and figured at least I won't be the dumbest one in the room if I joined :)

Just keeping it simple-

I recently started getting back into OS/RS3 after about a year and a half long break (mostly because of college)

Found the clan through the r/runescape "Clans" page on the wiki. Wanted to join a clan that was welcome to F2Ps and didn't have a minimum level requirement.

Wasn't technically "recruited", but Lilly and several other members tried to help me join officially (apparently, I'd forgotten I'd tried starting my own clan a few weeks ago and still had the clan charter in my inventory, derp).

Signed up for the forums about a week ago and found the Discord!
