About you:
just the short version. I studied psychology at Cambridge. Whilst I was there I made a little extra money working at the market stall in the town, selling this start up imported card game called Magic the Gathering.
After graduating I worked in cognitive research. I loved it and it was fun, but inorder to pay my bills I had to work like a dog. So I moved into financing, doing wealth managment with multi millionaires. That cost me a stomach uncer and my soul. So I went back to my childhood in religion and became a lay reader for the Church of England, whilst I trained to become a priest.
That was all by my early thirties.
But the ulcer had not finished with me. By the time anyone worked that out, it had done to much damage. Now I am a stay home dad, married to the girl I went to college with, we have 4 kids, and I live a very calm and stress free life. Unless I watch the news lol
Why you joined Consentus.
I finished intro island and found my self in Burthrope. I went to investigate the band stand and the big blue info board next to it. That's when I found the clan system. After reading through dozens of clans Infos pages and adverts, i had my eye on 2 possibilities. British elite and Consentus. I wanted an active community to join. I wanted a progressive clan with a health amount of members. And I wanted a group of people that had fun and chatted and could enjoy the game without being pushy or needing to be the best. Only Consentus had everything I was looking for.
I managed to set my color system, style and clan cloak to compliment each other.
I have the clan cloak on, in the picture below, and I matched my hair color with my style and your style 8)

Welcome to the clan! :) What a life you've lived, it's truly amazing what turns it takes. You're also the first person I've heard about who made money of off magic the gathering; that's one expensive game!

That said, are we Consentus or a consortium of psychologist 8)
As for the Magic the Gathering. It was pocket change and beer money whilst I studied psych at uni. And I really liked the game, and invested a fair amount of the earnings back into the game #-o
In my second year, Magic was no longer just an import game, and I could no make money selling it at the same price as the stores. It helped me out until year 2 summer holiday.
25 years later and I am stillpoayi g and buying the cards and other merch.
