Title: Introductory Post
Post by: rhyskk on December 31, 2019, 07:14:10
Hey all,

This is Rhys aka Health Berry in clan. I have just joined very recently when I was browsing the forums. I'm from Singapore, one of the most expensive countries to live in ( :() and my current timezone is GMT +8 so I usually see most of your morning greetings when it's already way into the night for me.

I'm 27 this year and works in the finance industry. Hobbies of mine include Runescape (of course), binge-watching Netflix series (currently on Billions Season 2), admiring watches, trading my personal stocks and most definitely delightful wine pairings!

My "career" in Runescape started when I was just a kid gaining access to the internet for the very first time. I've known and played Runescape since its classic days (used to have a character with bunny ears, scythe etc), albeit on and off. There's an allure about this game, its social aspects and game progression that makes one not being able to fully quit playing.

An interesting fact - Although I started off RS Classic training skills in everything, 90% of my RS life has been playing various types of skillers. I've always been one for unique concepts that goes against the meta. To date, I would say I'd have gone through about 6 - 7 different types of skillers and pures.

I currently play on my main 2 skillers - Health Berry and Juqqled. I'm going for an unconventional 120 hp on Health Berry while aiming for a Araxxi pet (DTD'ing it as a level 3) on the latter. Due to my nature of work, I'm expected to be able to work anywhere, any time and from home. As such, most of the time you may find me semi-AFK'ing or disappearing suddenly. I do seek your understanding for this!

Alright, that's about all! I hope to interact with more clannies over time!  ;)

I've never really kept track of it but I think around the same figures as yours. Around 15-ish.

It's so true and I had a huge smile on my face while reading this because that's pretty much how I was.  On the internet playing a game I was way too young to be playing.  XD

Looking forward to chatting with you in-game sometime! =]

Thank you! And yes, the excitement of waiting for the dial-up connection to establish and eagerly waiting for the login screen to load. I look forward to meeting you in-game too! :D
