I'm leaving Consentus.
Not because I dislike the clan/people in it. I admire everyone here, look up to everyone, because of the nice community and dedication of the members.

I'm leaving because of lack of recognition. I seem to never get it. I'm not one of those "attention freaks", but it seems like I NEVER get any recognition for anything. or even "good job d00d".

I see ppl post something an get 200+ views in hours, an many comments an what not. But when I do, no comments, no views, it's like I'm posting to myself. Might as well make a G&A on Microsoft word, being I'm the only one who looks at it anyway.

I update my G&A quite often, and comment and post on many many thread's and all I'd like is a RESPONSE, from ANYONE. When I say or ask a question, it never gets answered or called upon.

Like I said, I enjoy the cc very much as well as the forums, and I admire everyone here
I just feel like I'm not recognized in the clan an it seems like I'm just thrown on the back burner.

Wish you all the best of luck, I might return...one day. But for now, I just dont see the point in being a member of a clan that does'nt see me as a member.

Lilly, you were a good person to talk to, wish we chatted more, but its w/e.
David, you are a great person and love your dedication and humor.
Runar, great guy, many accounts (lol) but overall, a respected and GREAT skiller in my eyes.


(sorry if this post was too bold for some of you and this was'nt meant to bash on anyone nor gain attention towards me, I'm just the type of person who will say/rant about EXACTLY how I feel, and right now, this is how I feel)

Personally, I rarely ever comment or even look at someone's G&A unless I'm asked too.

Also, the one thing I hate about joining a clan for the first time is being the new member. It's like being the new kid at school. No one really knows you. And trying to force attention on yourself doesn't really help. Just saying. Give it time and get to know the members of the clan. Start posting more often and start talking to more people in the clan chat.

Another thing, I'm not trying to be rude, but you really did try and force attention on yourself. For example, making a thread just for pictures... It gives a hint that you might be a bit of a cocky person.

P.S ; I'm not trying to be a Grammar Nazi,but apostrophe's goes after the 'n'.
Example: "Doesn't" not "Doe'nt"

You shouldn't leave.
You're a genuinely nice person and we can use people like you in the clan.
Like Chrissie said, it just takes time for people to get to know you, and like you for who you are and how you act.

I'm thinking of how to put this nicely and this is what i came up with.

Everyone makes content be it on here or youtube whether or not someone reads it or watches it depends if it interesting to the person. I.E My videos (If you don't like runescape you're not going to watch Runescape videos.)
I can write an epic and whether or not someone will read it is based on something other than oh i spent a lot of time on it.

Also with all the people in the clan yea you will get over showded by people that have been here a while and that's the same as any clan. It takes a little to get in the "circle".
Do note that I'm not saying any of this is right but still.

Quitting over this is like a Attention seeking girl threatening to commit suicide because for 1 second no one is looking at her.

While i don't wish for you to leave it's your choice.

Dont leave. I know you must feel like no one even know's your in the clan but when your new its what happens Maybe im wrong but you should just stay. Personally I love this clan and I dont even talk that much in the cc but being part of it is all that matters

I pretty much agree with what Iuro and Chrissie has said.

I just think you're somebody who expects more attention for what they do than what they are given. I don't know if this is a totally overreacting comparation but think of it like this. Think of all those musicians who spend ages setting up in the middle of a street and playing to people who walk past. The human race can be quite ignorant and very few people will stop to appreciate his work and/or give some money. When that person stops playing, nobody seems to notice or care.
Musicians desperate for recognition for their work - forced to play in empty pubs and clubs because nobody else is willing to hire them.
Some give up, others don't. The point I'm trying to make is that these people put so much hard work and hardly receive any attention for it. The reason why is because they love what they do.

It seems you're doing the things you do just for attention. This ramble probably makes shit zero sense and sounded better in my mind but I hope you see what point I'm trying to get across here.

P.S. I check and read EVERY single thread - just because people don't post doesn't mean they don't notice and/or appreciate.

I been around for about almost a year or two. Got introduced first by Ryan Collins when he was a member, which was loooong ago.

Dunno why every keeps calling me the "new kid" on here. But idk, I was just in a really shitty mood from last night, alot went down and I got court coming up, so just alot of stress. I guess was just in a really bad mood and had no confidence.

Attention and Recognition are two different things. Hence the reason they are 2 different words with different meaning 'o.O

and to think I gave YOU recognition in my thread above, out of all the members of the clan I've got to know an talk to, I left THREE people a nice little message. Now I regret it..

Recognition: the acknowledgment of achievement, service, merit, etc

That is wanting attention from others.
And this thread, is also calling for attention from others.

It's recognition, not attention. Says right on it and goes along with the definition.
