alt1 has "best route" for most scans, it is also advised to use a meerkat for +5 scan range

Hidey holes
It is greatly advised to make and fill every hidey hole before doing clue scrolls as it saves bank space/inv space, below is a link to a wiki table showing items required for each one.

Once you obtain full globetrotter outfit you can wear the set, press key binded legs ability and do any clue emote if your hidey hole contains the correct items for the step, this is a great time saver for emote clues.
