Requirements
You cannot ever get an Elite step with a requirement (such as Fremennik isles scan) if you do not have that requirement.
Arrow step tips
please note, i use alt1 for all my clues as it greatly speeds them up! below is a guide on how to use alt 1 during arrow steps.

Puzzle step tips
Please note i use alt1 for clues so any puzzle tips will be around alt1.
knot puzzles
upon opening a knot puzzle step press "unlock any" on alt1 and it will show the fastest method to complete the knot, this is much faster then manually working it out yourself!

Slider puzzles
Require a lot more work hence why there puzzle skips are very costly but not worth buying due to limiting your overall clue profits and in some cases you will lose money use them.
upon opening a slider clue alt1 will take 1-3 seconds to find the less amount of steps/clicks required to complete the puzzle, it is advised to change the speed of the puzzle hints via the settings button in the bottom right corner, "move interval"
Clue scan tips
alt1 has "best routes" for most of the elite scan clues, it is advised to use a meerkat scroll for the +5 scan range, and use any teleports you can in order to save time, for example dessert scan i use dessert amulet (1 and then 2 teleports) and then fairy ring to middle so ive covered south/northeast and the middle of the step within seconds.

Tips for faster elite clues

Double surge (mobile perk on weapon) - note i have glowmorn+mobile on the same perk, as glowmorm lights up lumbridge dungeon without the need of a light source.
