Other News In GamingThings are always being made. Be it remastered, recorded, released to a new platform, animated, programmed - you get the idea. Good work is always being done. It's not always the most pleasing to fans but it's not done to spite them. It is done because it's what they believe is the best way forward. Here are a few annoucements and other news in the world of gaming.
YES! BELIEVE IT! The beautiful game so many of us loved is finally coming to PC! After a 2012 release for PlayStation 3 and a port to PlayStation 4 in 2015,
Journey is now going to be available to even more people with a PC release sometime in 2019. No official date has been given.
Journey will be available for purchase on the newly launched "Epic Games Store" among other titles that are now and will be available.
Holy heck. After years of patience - well I can't speak for everyone, but years of patience and hearing virtually nothing. We now finally have a
Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer! With a release of January 25, 2019 the time to play the next installment of the worldwide phenomenom series is finally here! We've only been anticipating this title for what? A solid 13 years? And to think people are moaning over
Half Life 3. Pfft! Please... Seriously, please make it Valve. For the children.
Recently - just today actually. Limited Run Games is selling a very limited (no pun intended) amount of (7,500) physical copies of Naughty Dog's first installment in their groundbreaking series with
Jak and Daxter: The Precurser Legacy. With 2,500 collector's editions and 5,000 standard, Limited Run Games made a very unusual move in this limited release, which is obviously aimed at the hardcore
Jak and Daxter and Naughty Dog fans. Limited Run Games has plans to release the other games in the series (
Jak 2, Jak 3, Jak X: Combat Racing) in a similar fashion by June 2019.
According to Limited, those who purchase all 4 games will be able to enter a "--redeemable code for a PlayStation 4 system theme based on Naughty Dog’s original late-00’s Jak 4 concept art." These same buyers will also be mailed a 'mock case' (their words, not mine) of the never released
Jak 4. As far as sources tell, it's just a disc case that might-have-been. The game itself was in development for a short while, until its cancellation to begin work on the ultra popular, critically praised
The Last of Us.
