Favourite game of 2018?

Howdy,

Just a quick question to everyone...What was your favourite game of 2018 and what games are you looking forward to in 2019?

My favourite game of 2018 probably has to be Assassin's Creed Odyssey. As for the games in 2019, I'm not really sure what I'm really looking forward to but I think Cyberpunk 2077 will be great.

Favorite is a big toss-up between God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2.  I kept leaning one way then back the other so I stopped trying to decide haha.

For 2019, I haven't put much thought into it.  I doubt it'll be coming out 2019 but if it did, The Last of Us Part II hands down. 

@Mini Nub   I hope Cyberpunk is good, because I enjoy a good game and the concept of it seems really cool.  But I keep having my doubts.  I think it's mostly because I'm starting to get annoyed, especially on Reddit, with how much people are hyping it up.  Already calling it a masterpiece and the greatest game ever made even though we know virtually NOTHING about it.  Which makes total sense.  "CD Projekt Red is the last hope in gaming and other studios should follow their lead." 


I don't get people sometimes man!  :P

Spider-Man on PS4 was probably the game I nolifed the most in 2018 :P

I do want to buy Red Dead Redemption 2, and also the Spyro remake :3

I've hardly played any new/2018 games simply because my backlog is so big. I would probably say the Spyro Remaster since it's the only 2018 game I recall playing  :/

Mine was the release of Two Point Hospital. It’s based on the Bullfrog game Theme Hospital and developed by two of the original creators. New diagnoses, new surgeries and a fun storyline.

I think the game I enjoyed the most of 2018 was Far Cry 5, it is a beautiful game

Just got this game and playing the campaign with Jordan. Its amazing so far, great graphics :)

@Caspafam  Agreed!  It was beautiful!  Most of the Far Cry games I didn't think that highly of after the first one (still my favorite), but 5 was very fun.  I really respect how Ubisoft still uses CryEngine to make the Far Cry games.  Although it's a heavily modified version they made.

@Powerless  Haha that's fair.  Probably the game I play most as well.

2018 was kind of a disappointment imo. My fave games were easily Monster Hunter World or Smash as Red Dead was just far too overhyped and did not live up to that (imo).

2019 looks like a completely different story however. I'm looking forward to getting my hands Division 2, KH3 and most importantly Ori and the will of the wisps. Also i'm currently playing Resident Evil 2 which is so fun. Also fingers crossed for Borderlands 3 ofc.

I think 2018 was a great year. Monster Hunter World, God of War, Spiderman and Fortnite is still great in my opinion. 2019 is very promising as well.
