Ho ho ho!

One of the main things I picked up from the past two meetings I have attended since joining is that clan members want more PvM, so I give you the 12 bosses of christmas!

A full day packed with some of the meanest bosses in Gielinor and a day where it doesn't matter what your experience towards PvM is, if you want to attend and you have the requirements to enter, come on in.

The event will be coinshare so whatever is split during the kill will be the loot taken away, that means if you join before a kill or leave after a kill you may not be entitled for a split on a big drop.

right so I hope you all had fun through the 9 Bosses of Christmas (some were skipped due to no attendance)

I wanted to give you my feedback regarding the event and some suggestions if we were ever to do this event again. I would also welcome anyone who did attend to give their feedback on the event and even those who didn't attend to give suggestions on why you couldn't attend and what would make it easier for next time, so without further ado.

Feedback:
The feedback that is given is my personal opinions on how I felt the event went and what would be better for next time, So the original aim 12 bosses in one day turned out to be 7 bosses on day 1 and 2 on day 2. I feel that the whole 12 bosses in one day is kind of long winded and I feel this had a direct effect on attendance. The idea of logging in for a certain time on a certain day to do a boss where you should potentially earn some money and do some clan bonding is quite a nice idea. With this event, everyone had their own boss they wanted to attend regardless of the reason whether it be ability to do boss, personal interest in boss or quite simply, they had it for a reaper task.

for a single host, 12 bosses over 1-2 days is quite a lot and quite tiring, Kieran will vouch for me on this one, which is quite fair to be honest cause as a host you have a duty of care to look out for your event attendees and make the event as good as you can for them.

If I was to do this event again I would do 1-3 bosses over 4, 6 or 12 days that way if a clan member cannot make it on specific days they always have other days to look forward to, I also found that lower level bosses felt quite tedious as during the KBD Event it started at quite a high attendance and dropped the longer we got in to the event, my aim was to make this accessible for more but I think i got lost on the basis that a lot of the clan are higher levels and can do bosses higher than KBD that a level 40 would have probably struggled on.

From what I saw as we got further into the higher up bosses, morale improved and the people attending were seen to have a really good time, going to take a minute to mention miss mudds who attempted several bosses she had never visited before so well done for going out of your comfort zone.

Hahah thanks for the shout out! I did enjoy this a lot, even just the hour slots were enough time for someone like me to have a taster and run out of food, so it was a good time.

I agree with maybe splitting them over a weekend (even Friday-Sunday), then you have the option to maybe extend a few of them to two hours?

Only thing I will suggest next time is can we have a little more notice of when it’s happening! 😜 I’ll happily reorganise home stuff to do this again!

I really liked this idea

But,

It would have been way better if there were maybe 1 or 2 or 3 bosses per day.

This way you can advertise it better, and people can join the ones they want and they can plan it ahead.

I didnt know they were all on the same day, and bossing all day is not what people want i guess.
We dont have that many pvmers in the clan, and the ones that are pvmers, either do solo bosses or higher tier group bosses.

You started very early on the day, when not many people are online or are still sleepy or wanna do their dailies first. (Or like me, i was online all day but had to do some irl stuff)

You also started with verrrrrrry easy bosses (which took too long , bc 1 hour per boss and you did like 5 or 6 very easy ones first). Because we do the bosses in larger teams, they become so easy, where it becomes boring. (I didnt attend these at all, bc of that reason)

To solve this, you could mix them up ( so higher tier then lower tier then higher tier, and maybe have breaks in between (30 min or 1 hour) )
The breaks could function as a moment of teaching and explaining the boss, or for irl stuff or some daily stuff like farm runs.

Another idea is to do the bosses in the evenings. This is when the most people are online, so chances of people wanting to join are higher.
