Title: 10th Anniversary SPAM Event!

We're having our biggest Spam event of the year! 

What is a spam event?  It's a time where we save up and get as many world broadcasts as we can to spam the w25 chats! 

We'll take turns, going down the line, until everyone has finished with their broadcasts.  There's no limit to how many you can have...the more the better!

Let us know below if you're spamming with us, so we can cheer you on and coordinate with you on the day of the event. <3

REQUIREMENTS

The only requirement is that your broadcast needs to be something you can get while standing in line in Burthorpe.

Broadcasts are made for Levels 99 and 120, 50m, 100m, 150m, and 200m xp, and every 1/2 billion total xp.

worked out need to do on average 3.5mil xp a day to make the goal.

I got 115 fming last night!  I've figure out how much need for each skill per day, and it's really not that bad!

I hit 70m and 116 farming, and I'm very close to 70m fming!  I think my fletching is 77m and slayer is at 88m.

Thanks to the recently announced Double XP I can add these to my list:
150m Herblore added
150m Slayer added

If anyone is planning on Arch for spam, remember this is awkward to level at Burthorpe so make sure to have a daily challenge to hand.
Other things that are helpful for levelling on the spot are silverhawks for Agility; skill dummies for Thieving, Slayer, Agility and Hunter; effigys for... err all sorts, daily challenges and divine locations.

There are of course lamps from TH or oddments but I would personally use these as a last resort. I find them to be a little clunky on the interfaces and for filming purposes there is no animation iirc. I think it would look so much better seeing each person skill or do something to achieve their goals they've slaved over for months :)

I am not sure how much I can add to this list but this is what I am aiming for:

120 Herblore (117 currently and got 120 banked thanks to upcoming DXP)
120 Range (117 currently and hoping to maybe make a decent push towards 120 during DXP)
120 Constitution (118 currently, If I actually get close to 120 Range, I should be very close to this one as well)

If I get close to anything else by then, I can try adding them

Great job on all the lovely progress, everyone!

I just finished my dxp goal and got my fletching ready for the event!

I'm working through my protean logs now that will be me close to 85m fming, then I'll finish out my hours on Slayer and update my levels. :D

It's looking like another...2/3 weeks? for the rest of my goals to be done with. I'll almost be at a loose end after that so I'll probably end up doing some fishvention :shrugs: unless I wanted to make one of these goals higher. We'll see :3

With DXP done, here is my update:

I am currently:
200k XP from 120 Herblore
34k XP from 120 Range
5.6m XP from 120 Constitution.

Herblore and Range are a lock, I will be working towards Constitution, but I'm not sure yet. Hoping I can get it by then if I try hard enough.

I'm on track to finish at least the following:

Since I am an ironman, getting most of them whilst being in line will be hard since I have no TH lamps, anyone have any ideas on how to get them? I think the lamps from Waiko are able to be obtained on an ironman and I can use these for agility, herblore, fishing and cooking but I'm not sure about the other skills!

@FreeKesky We're going to move the event to the arch guild.  We'll be lining up, facing north, to the west of the restoration table.  I'm not sure which end we'll start with yet (it will depend on media team's personal skills and how we need to set up).  There will be room to place something that auto spawns to the north, but I think a portable may be too much.  What are you needing a portable to level?  My fear is that a portable may block other members.  Each person will need to go rather quickly so it's an actual spam and not just a bunch of spaced out broadcasts.

That's fine.  I can do medium lamps.  Earlier in the thread there was a mention of wanting animations so I changed my idea from lamps to other things.  For me with at least 10 broadcasts I actually prefer lamps.  As you said the broadcast messages would be faster and it would allow the event to move faster.
