Title: Dad Grants His Son's Wish By Having Jason From 'Friday The 13th' pick him up
Post by: Only Lilly on February 08, 2020, 23:44:18
This is wrong in my eyes, why does this child know about this 18 plus horror character.  Why is the fact he has ADHD have any  bearing on this subject.

This is the moment a dad granted his son's birthday wish - to be picked up from school by Jason from Friday the 13th.

Sam Murphy wanted to surprise his son Carter, who has ADHD, with a special treat for his big day.
He asked Carter what he wanted and was told his one wish was to meet the legendary villain and serial slasher Jason Voorhees.

"I spoke to the school about it and they said they didn't want Jason waiting at the school gates so he had to be round the corner."
"It was quite a nice experience, he was walking down the street holding hands with Jason. He has issues with touching, he won't hold my hand."

When I was a kid, I used to really love horror movies. My friends and I would rent them all the time (video stores didn't age check for anything except porn and the more explicit movies such as "Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom"). I'm not sure my parents condoned or even knew about it, but I don't think it's uncommon for kids to be fascinated by horror movies.

Yeah idk why they had to mention ADHD... [-(

I used to have a strong morbid curiosity when I was a kid. Horror films weren't an issue. My parents always had the 'If you're old enough to ask, you're old enough to get the answer' kinda outlook on things.

If I got nightmares, it was my own fault.

Horror movies were only cool AS a kid. They're super lame as an adult, I walked out of the last one I went to because it was so stupid. =D
