I'm Pro-choice to an extent.

I think women should have the choice to do what they want with their own body, but there should be a limit to when a woman can get an abortion with a few exceptions.

A women can't get an abortion after the 1st trimester unless...
* It threatens their life.
* Rape/ incest

The reason why I don't think a woman should get a abortion after the first trimester is because it's very dangerous. (even with miscarriages).

Not being ready or not wanting is no excuse. If you are "mature" enough to be doing that sort of stuff then you have to deal with what happens.

Would you feel good if you were only alive because your parent's have to 'deal with what happens?' I'd personally feel a bit shit. I mean there is adoption to consider, but really that's punishing the child for something that isn't their fault..

Thing is, rape is a horrible thing and should a woman really have to tick the box that says "I was raped" before she's allowed to terminate a pregnancy? How can you tell she was raped since the woman doesn't have to fight for it to be rape, it was simply lack of consent and may not even show in an examination. Even then, would you put her through that kind of examination to be allowed to terminate?

Incest, again, do you mean if she comes forward saying it was incest or would she be put through forced abortion because someone else advised it was incest?

I think you open it to all and you do your best to ensure that society's attitude never says that it's another form of contraception.

At that stage is at child really a child? Shouldn't the woman come first and the baby second while it is still in her womb?

Roman Catholics are the most strict/unforgiving when it comes to abortion but even they say that if the child is a product of rape or incest then it doesn't count.

Are you saying that the fetus has no potential to be a human being? I just don't see why we get to play god and deny someone the right to live.
