The US election
« on: November 06, 2012, 22:28:45 »
Some of you might be voting in this election but the majority of us can't.

Would you vote Obama or Romney? Where do you see the result going? Will you be watching?

Personally I think they are both big rightys and trouble but Obama's a much much better as far as I'm concerned.

I think I will be staying up to watch the polls tonight.

I don't think I might be able to keep my eyes open, but I really think Obama will win with the reviews of peoples thoughts on the news.

Obama2012.

Neither of them are ideal but I'd vote for Obama, simply because all Romney seems to care about in my eyes is money.

Most politicians are corrupt anyway, they don't keep their promises and they only tell the public what they want to hear in order to get votes.

I'm not very educated on their politics, but if I were in a position to vote for one of them right now, I would vote for Obama. I know a lot of people are disappointed with him; the campaign promises he never fulfilled, but considering the financial crisis he had to deal with – the worst since the 30s – it is understandable. If I understand them correctly, in general, Obama wants to use tax money for public investments, such as infrastructure and educations, to create jobs and attract private companies. Romney wants to cut the taxes a lot to attract more shopping and private investments. What I would like to know is how exactly Romney intends to finance his the tax cuts or to create the 12 million jobs he has promised. Have any details been given on this plan or are they all just rough ideas and estimations? It seems uncertain and naive to me.

Romney has the same advisors Bush did, and I may be cynical now, but we all know how that affected the foreign policy. If Romney was elected, I would not be surprised at all to see a war against Iran, and probably a restricted free trade, due to his grudges against China.

I have lived in New York State my life, and i would vote neither one. They have no more education then a High School graduate.. which means a 15 year old from Korea "could" be a better president then either one. Most common American college graduates could be better presidents.

Vermin Supreme 2012

Funny thing is Vermin Supreme is the only one who really tells the full truth.

If it were up to me I'd elect Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate.

Chris Rock has a message for white voters

#BarryObama2012

I know Obama is not the best, but I honetly think that if Romney were to win (which he thankfulyl DIDN'T!!), the Economy would fall, and the "predicted" US Economy collapse would happen. A lot of people in the US are preparing for doomsday (a documentary on TV called Doomsday preppers) or something, and I think this would happen much earlier with Romney, he is a billionaire, of course he would make taxes affect less of the rich white men, and rich Americans in general.

Obama did well considering the things he had to deal with so I am glad he got another shot to do it better this time. Also, taking into consideration the video that was leaked of Romney calling US citizens lazy fat people with no work, I would expect him to have NO SHOT AT ALL at winning.

BARRY OBAMA BARRY OBAMA!!!

What a great night for equality. Obama back in office (the first US President ever to support marriage equality), Richard Mourdock and Todd 'Legitimate Rape' Akin lost their elections, Tammy Baldwin is the first the first openly lesbian senator AND marriage equality was passed in 3 out of 4 states :D Woooo!

also, on an unrelated note... Colorado and Washington voted yes.
