Imagjne you are the only person who could give a friend a kidney, would you?

Who would you give a kidney to?

Would you donate an organ for money while you are still alive?


What are you thoughts on helping people live after you have gone?  have you donated your organs?

I would give to anyone and I will sign up to donate everything when I am not a robot dead.

At the moment, I only donate blood and have a bone marrow card or something if I'm needed for that. O:)

When I die I'm going to donate everything I have - I'll have no use for them anymore so somebody else who needs them should have them.

I would give a kidney to a close friend or family member if I was the only match for them though, yes. If I could potentially save somebody's life (without losing my own, of course) then I'd happily do it.

I actually have donated alotta blood to these people in the hospital next to my house back in 2007, I remember visiting the hospital everyday for about 2 months. that made me faint sometimes and got me anemia but didn't kill me :)

I was willing to do a kidney transfer to my uncle when I was 9 but the doctor said that I was too young and that although I was the only match in the family, the body will dismiss it

As Abbie said, after I'm gone I won't need any of these organs anymore, instead I'd mention in my will that I'd like to donate them to poor people for free ^_^

Already donate blood and once im gone then if someone needs part of me they can have it. Organ transplants im good with as long as i care for the person.

I used to give blood about 2 years ago, but I've not done it in a while (should probably get back to it soon, thanks for the reminder :P )

I do have a donor card, so whenever I die, anybody can have my organs, not like they'd be any use to me any more.

I'm still unsure about donating an organ whilst I'm alive though. If the circumstances are understandable, and there was no other alternative, then I would donate, first to family, and then to friends. I know it sounds selfish, but I'd be putting myself at inconvenience if I donated a part of my lung or something, because it could have long term damaging effects to myself for the rest of my life. What if the other person's body rejected it? I would have lost an organ or part of an organ for nothing. Not to mention the risk it could have on me in the future, should I suffer the same fate as the recipient.

I don't think I'd donate an organ for money. I wouldn't want to put a price to somebody's life.

i am afraid of hospitals because of the stories of things that have gone wrong . I would only donate if i was died .

I donate blood every 6 months.
Kidney would be something I'd have to think over.
If it was to a family remember, close reletive, and or my best friend I would.
I don't think I'd just give it to someone else though. Sad.

Friend/Family, since I've never been in the situation before maybe a complete stranger who really needs it and might die

Maybe if I'm in desperate need of the money or if it comes as a bonus for saving a complete stranger mentioned above

I will donate anything after I'm dead. I would consider donating whilst I was alive depending on the circumstances I think.
