I want to hear your views on should the United kingdom be in the EU[European union]


Will you be voting to stay in the EU or would you prefer it if we came out of the EU?

Also you see it alot on the news between two parties fighting as well as the increased popularity of UKIP.

Do you reckon it will damage foreign relations if we pull out of the EU?
 

If the UKIP win the next election we are screwed. They are a party built on values of homophobia, racism and sexism.

That is all I have to say - I'm not that interested in politics generally.

In terms of staying in the EU - I'm not that bothered. I'd prefer it if we stayed in the EU but I voted "I do not care" as I'm not sure if it'd be good or bad if we stayed in/pulled out.

i actually like the UKIP party..

All the bad mp's they have aside their views are actually quite good.

its the close minded toffs that ruin it for them, but see how it goes they may have my vote.

(But all in all, whoever is in charge its all the same.. one big screw over.)

Whilst I can't vote in the EU elections I will be able to vote in the next general election and I'll definitely be voting UKIP, the other 3 are pathetic

Does any vote actually make a difference? I'm sure they just fill our heads with bullshit to carry on doing the same as always..

I will be voting to stay in the EU but as for the general election I will spoil my vote as I believe everyone should vote especially women did to give you the vote.

If enough people spoil your ballet paper they will have to look at our voting system, but as is the downfall of the British people too many will not be bothered or care and still complain.

As far as I can see the UKIP is currently the most popular party in the UK right now,

Nigel Farage's party is on 29%, ahead of Labour on 26%, the Conservatives on 23% and the Liberal Democrats on 10%.

Obviously these numbers are only from one source as far as I can tell, so they shouldn't be taken as 100% truth.

I don't think UKIP are that bad, they're incredibly stygmatised heavily by the press and others.


Whilst it may seem coincidental, the view that Farage is expressing about some members of his party;

Farage accepted there were "some idiots" in the party as he condemned Perry's comments as "entirely inconsistent" with remaining in Ukip.

About this,

Harry Perry posted comments on Twitter describing the prime minister, David Cameron, as a "gay-loving nutcase", Muslims as "devil's kids" and homosexuality as "an abomination before God".

In comparison to the other party leaders, quite frankly Farage is far more intelligent, as well as a much better public speaker (and debater).






Did some research on the "UKIP are Racist"    [As in the whole party, not specific members.] Found this, is interesting as there were no truly valid replies to it.

As i'm sure you're aware, a couple had their ethnic foster children taken from them recently purely because their membership of UKIP was branded 'racist' by the morons in the social services. So that led me to ask the question: Why do people think UKIP are racist?

 I have yet to hear or see any evidence whatsoever to suggest that they are a racist party. Lot's of people keep saying/posting comments along the lines of 'UKIP are just like the BNP but they wear suits". As far as i am aware UKIP is the only party that bans BNP members from joining it. They also have many candidates standing for them from ethnic backgrounds. I also believe that leader Nigel Farage's wife is german.

 Nothing in their manifesto can even be misconstrued as racist let alone be a suitable reason to remove someones children.

 A common complaint is that UKIP 'oppose multiculturalism' but this has blatantly been taken out of context from the UKIP manifesto:

 "UKIP believes in civic nationalism, which is open and inclusive to anyone who wishes to identify with Britain, regardless of ethnic or re- ligious background. We reject the “blood and soil” ethnic nationalism of extremist parties. UKIP opposes multiculturalism and political correctness, and promotes uniculturalism - aiming to create a single British culture embracing all races and religions"

 This seems far more inclusive of different races and religions than any other mainstream political party. Which panders so far to the politically correct nonsense, that it is actively discriminating against british people.

 On the topic of Immigration, UKIP have repeatedly said that they think immigration on the whole has been a positive thing, it just needs to be controlled as mass open-door immigration is irresponsible. What's racist about that? They're not saying that everyone should be sent home like the BNP.

 So I ask again: Why is UKIP considered racist?

Whilst these may be biased answers, I don't know, there wasn't a single answer really giving solid evidence.




For the last few months, support for the other 'main' parties has gradually been slipping and going into UKIP, don't be surprised if they end up winning any elections in the near future.










And myself, personally I don't care too much about whether we stay or leave the EU.

It seems like a domino effect when one of the countries falls and has a recession all of the other countries will soon to as well. It also seems that you have been doing just fine without being in it. Why fix something that isn't broken. Then again I am from America and honestly don't know too much about it.

You're right, we have done just fine without being in it, but you've got the EU and the Eurozone mixed up, which is a simple mistake for those who don't know much about it. We are currently in the EU and have to follow it's rules and regulations however we are not a part of the Eurozone, which is basically a bunch of EU countries using the same currency. With the Eurozone crisis many countries were screwed over but thankfully Britain wasn't hit too hard, if we were a part of the Eurozone it could have been a lot worse.

Principally, I believe EU is good, but I would need to look up some data before actually voting. For example, roughly 4% of Sweden's GDP goes to EU contributions and fees. The question is how much we, as consumers and domestic producers, get back as a result of e.g. trade expansion and externalities such as competitive market power. I think, though, that it's safe to assume EU benefits us economically, but yea, there are probably some negative externalities too.

My vote will be a No

I don't usually read a lot about politics, all I know is I don't trust any of them. They all go against their words or don't live up to the pledges they make. I've heard a lot of bad things about UKIP, and wouldn't trust them any more than the 3 other main parties.

To people who complain about foreigners taking all of the jobs - "foreigners may be stealing your job, but maybe if someone with no contacts, money, or ability to speak English can steal your job, you deserve to have it stolen."

Personally, I think we're better in the EU, despite it costing us millions per day, it just gives us more security.

I'll probably just use my vote on the Green Party.

Been looking at how UKIP are seen as racist, and whilst I have not seen to much evidence of it I probably won't vote for them, seeing the "muslims are devils kids" makes me sad as my girlfriend is a muslim, and wouldn't vote for a group that may view muslims like that
