To put it short I hate both republicans and democrats but will lean toward republicans in general when voting because they prefer less government. Outside of Larry Hogan (who is the absolute best) I usually vote 3rd party just to help grow it.

Government is just extremely inefficient and eats money. The affordable care act website was non functional for I forget how long and there's still way too many kinks in the system.

More or less I dislike democrats because they, in my eyes, give no incentive and often make it harder to become successful. I understand they want to protect the little guy from big business but it actually kills small businesses which in turn promotes big business.

I dislike republicans because for whatever reason they insist on being a "Christian nation". I'm not religious at all and don't think religion has any place in government (not to mention pro-life is about the only Christian value they promote) Outside of government spending they take some pretty crazy stances. And I hate that they they insist on the US remaining the world police -- especially while places like Detroit exist.

Well, I think it's probably a mix of the fact that a lot of Americans are getting tired of hearing the same things year after year with no change at all, also probably the fact that a lot of americans don't know the fact that in most states the deadline for registering as a republican voter is sometime as large as 55 days+ prior to the actual polling day, failure to do so means your vote isn't counted. Meaning a lot of Americans that do actually go to vote don't get their vote counted, just another way to fix the system lol.

That's not completely true, many states have laws against faithless electors, and require the elector to vote for who won the popular vote.

I'd say they're too lazy to get out of their beds to go and vote...That's how I feel when I have to vote.

i dont because i think its a waste of my time anyways we are a so called democracy but the elections are rigged anyway the congress+/government actually decide

Not sure why a Republican controlled congress would ever select a Democratic president =p
