Is Cancer a 'Man-Made' disease?
« on: April 15, 2016, 17:26:45 »
Found this shared by a huge conspiracy-theorist college friend of mine, that claims, "Researchers Finally Confirm That Cancer Is A Purely Man-Made Disease."

Have a read of the article and let us know of your opinions..

Personally, I think most diseases that are a world-wide problem are man-made.

Ebola, Cancer etc

IF cancer is a man made disease, does that mean it was made so businesses and the government can make $$$ out of it?

Pretty sick in that case.

Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty certain cancer is a pretty profitable disease, it can cost thousands to get treatment.

However, I don't think it's man-made, but I do support the idea that the modern world (processed foods, toxins, pollution, etc) and increased life spans is making cancer more common.

Yeah they make billions throughout the world.
So much rubbish is in our foods now, it probably does increase the risk.
Marijuana has been shown to shrink tumours and slow down cancer without harming our cells, medical marijuana has taken a rise, especially in some states of America.
To be honest, smoking has proven to increase the chances of you getting cancer, but the government make so much money on the tax they don't care.

From what I got after reading the article, they're claiming that cancer is a "man-made disease" simply because environmental factors that increase the chances are more prevalent now due to the changes that we as humans have caused. I can't speak for everyone, but I'd say that that is pretty obvious. The same is true for multiple issues, including simple ones like allergies. I just think that the title saying that it's "man-made" is simply a ploy for attention and getting people to think, like I've seen discussed already on this thread, that it was PURPOSELY created by man in order to profit, which I believe is blatantly false.
