I like Starships and Fly (ft. Rihanna) by Nicki Minaj. I also used to like Super Bass. Songs like Stupid Hoe are shit though.

The only rock bands I ever see on the charts now are Foo Fighters and Linkin Park. I sometimes see some My Chemical Romance and Green Day too, along with Evanescence and Nickelback but that's about it. It's quite saddening actually as rock is my favourite genre.

I personally think most heavy metal is shit now, even the bands that are still going such as Metallica. I love their old stuff but their new stuff is disappointing. There's also Iron Maiden, AC/DC (not quite heavy metal but pretty close), Black Sabbath, some Aerosmith stuff, some Kiss stuff, Ozzy Osbourne (singer though, not band) and some Led Zeppelin stuff. I current adore RAMPANT who are a Japanese heavy metal/hard rock/screamo/rock band with a female vocalist and are quite recent. They've given me hope for the future but for now it'll be the old stuff for me. Also, if anyone has any good heavy metal singers/bands to recommend me, please do. I'm running quite low on that genre.

Check out Dio. He's one of the greatest Heavy Metal singers of all time. He's old school, too. So I think you'd like him.
