A viral message attributed to Japanese Nobel Prize laureate Tasuku Honjo claims he believes the new coronavirus was "manufactured" in a lab in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

Without a doubt this is a natural virus, you all know I believe Mother Earth is trying to protect herself from us.

It's just a huge tragedy that this couldn't be contained sooner to stop this from getting as bad as it has. But people all over the world are doing whatever they can to try and prevent further deaths.

The media coverage on this has been outrageous and just goes to show that people will write anything to enact fear into people, they need to fact check before making assumptions. If you have friends/family in the medical field, listen to them. They're witnessing this first hand and know what they need to do.

As for the debate, i tend to stay away from what's posted and shown as "coverage" on the news etc because the best policy is to fact check on your own and to keep an open mind because if you google for something chances are you'll find exactly what you are looking for. Sadly in this day and age almost anything and everything can be manipulated and edited into something that it isn't just a case of bothering to look for it.
