Consentus Ranking
Hi everyone,
Some of you may have heard whispers or this may be something brand new. But we have been working in the background to restructure how the clan works. If you know about our current ranking system then you are aware it was on Clan xP, time in clan, forum posts and events attended with you having to meet 2 out of 3 criteria.
What we have done is changed on how we record activity. So instead of you having to reach criteria in each section we have broadened the horizon and are trying to reward you for being an active part of our community. To do this we have changed everything into a Points based system. So now to be promoted you have to gain a certain amount of Points. The best part about this new system is we can reward you better for being actively involved in Clan activities.
Before you ask, with the change of ranking systems no one will be demoted, and sneakily I believe we have 138 people to promote.
Now lets drill down into how this works,
How can I earn points?
Everything we can track we will allocate points for.
Please see the following Point list.
- Signing up to the Forums is 50 Points
- Every Forum Post is 1 Point
- Every Month you are a member of the Clan you will get 2 Points
- Every 5 million Clan Xp you will get 2 Points
- Joining the Clan Discord will get you 30 Points
- Levelling up in Discord per Level is 2 Points
- Attending an Event 10 Points
- Hosting an Event 30 Points
As you can see there are many ways to earn points for your next rank, but the biggest points come directly from being active within the clan and helping out. It is all very exciting and a lot of work has gone into making this change.
How many Points to the next Rank.
Every rank now has a certain amount of points that you must achieve. We have also adjusted at what point you need a Forum account to be promoted. If you wish to be promoted to Captain and above you will need a Forum account. We believe this will give you time to get a sense of the clan and how we work without limiting promotions beforehand.

As you can see from above the higher the rank the greater the distance between them. We will put these points into trial for the first 3 to 6 months before conducting a review. In the review we will be looking at how easy it is to obtain ranks, are the points per task correct and are the points per rank correct.
Some further information, There is currently an ongoing project underway to automatically link your discord account to the forum profile for leveling up. But this will still take some time to implement as the team is currently writing code for our very own server bot. We will manually award points for joining the discord, this may take a little while so please be patient. If you do not have the Clan member role in discord or your nickname is not like your username you may miss out on Points. I would recommend that you adjust your nickname to include your RS name.
Not all events are counted as an event for attending. For example daily yews at the moment are not counted as attending an event. We are currently working towards a way to reward players for attending this event but at a reduced rate of points compared to the normal 10 Points. If you host daily yews you will be rewarded with a certain amount of points.

Awesome! I just wondered since they mentioned daily yews did not count unless you hosted.

Well this looks promising. I was kinda locked out of gaining any more ranks in the clan due to 5.6b xp limitations and being miles off other requirements for further rank ups. Now atleast I'll have a chance.

At the moment their isn't a way. But in the future I'm sure we can make that happen. If you ask a staff member kindly they can check it for you for the time being
