Over the last month, we have asked all members of Consentus to complete our annual survey. The survey encompasses more and more each year and we were keen to hear your opinions on some newer areas of the clan this time around. The level of response has been overwhelming, with more of you filling out the survey than ever before! Thank you so much to those of you that took the time out of your busy lives to provide us with some invaluable feedback.

This thread is intended as a summary of the results, allowing you to see the opinions of others as to how we are doing as a clan. We have been able to produce graphical representations for some of the questions, which will be displayed below the questions inside of a spoiler, making it easier to interpret results and spot general trends in clan opinion.

The more detailed and qualitative answers are also greatly appreciated and be assured, every single comment was read. Where comments may be negative in nature, the staff team will be discussing these further and consider ways that we can improve on some of the areas we may not be doing so well on.

Your opinions are greatly appreciated and will factor into the decisions we make when bringing updates to the clan.

Create more chats where people can discuss other games, art, music, etc
We have had an internal discussion with amongst staff regarding this suggestion. It was unanimously agreed upon that creating more boards for the discord channel may make the discord page look messy, unorganised or may have too many dead boards. So we have decided to keep discord as it currently is.

Using discord for events
Several members suggested that we should try to use the clan discord more during clan events, as a result, staff will be trying to get members to get on discord during events as well as catering more events for discord.

Personalized profiles
This has been in the works before the survey was released and is in development by Master Redtunnel.

The home screen could have a twitch/youtube panel which promotes clannies yt and twitch channels
We have discussed this as staff and we have agreed that this seems like a great idea. Redtunnel has said that this can be done and will likely be implemented in the near future.

NSFW +18 Section
We have had an adult section on the forums for a few years now, but I wouldn't be surprised if you knew nothing about it as you have to request your way in.  You still have to message an owner or senior to have access, but it is now mentioned in the Consentus FAQ thread.  If you plan to join this board please be sure to read the rules before posting.

Board management
We have taken a look at some boards and have added archives to those specific boards, such as the guides board.  We've also cleaned up some of the forums by moving threads into the right boards if they were previously posted in the wrong board.

Debates were always a good time when I was working for Runezone.
I love the debates board and I hope more people use this board too.  We've recently seen some new threads posted in the debated board and have had some great responses - Feel free to check it out already if you haven't.

We had a well-written, thought-out message from one of our Old-school players on the clan survey addressing the issue on how we aren't including old school players well enough in Consentus.

We have had an internal discussion as staff about this topic and I believe that we have come to a conclusion regarding our position with old-school players and modern-consentus.

First of all, I'd like to say that we have tried in the past to incorporate OSRS players with RS3 players, but have had little to no success at all.  As it stands, 82 forum-members play OSRS, but we can't determine how many of these are still active.

We have come to the conclusion that it's not in the best interest of Consentus to try and incorporate OSRS players with RS3, as there doesn't appear to be any good options on how to do this nor is there any 'support' from Jagex.  By support from Jagex, I mean a clan system in which both OSRS and RS3 players could join the same clan together, similar to how they can both join friends chats.

Unless something like this comes along, we will primarily aim to be a RS3 clan.

I would also like to mention that we do offer a wide variety of events here on the forums every week which is open to all. Although not the solution to the problem stated, old school players may still choose to participate in the clan this way. As it stands, we are ultimately preoccupied with making the best we can of the game that 99% of our clan members play.
