Worst mistake on RS you've ever made?

About 5 minutes ago, I accidentally used 100 slay pts to prefer a task...and that task was crawling hands...I didn't know it would prefer the current task & I thought I would be given a choice of what I wanted to prefer, but nope! 100 slay pts and 25 tasks down the drain...

I'm curious to know what other dumb things everyone else has done?

Knowingly getting lured, just so we could antilure the lurer's and then my friend who didn't share the loot in the end >.> virtus wand and book and a virtus set, at that point the wand was over 300m >.>

I'd say my worst mistake was not getting invested on a single account and instead getting bored and starting again over the years. I'd have much better skills if I stuck to it.

In RS classic, I wanted to see how many would chase me if I brought a partyhat to the wilderness skulled. I forgot to turn on protect item.

PKing in full bronze (while I was able to wear rune) cause I didn't want to risk losing anything. Yes, also a bronze scimitar. And no, I did not win a fight.

Quitting my first "main" account to create a skiller.

I really loved being a skiller and everything, but now I've realized after many accounts that I can just do everything I want on one account and just not care about much

Not locking my computer when going to toilet at school. A classmate of mine ruined an almost maxed 10hp pure..  :'( :'(
