It saddens me how quickly these youngsters give up trying to get my money

Bet he got well excited when you traded and he thought he got one

I kinda regret not going to w40 because now I am curious what they were actually trying to get me to do

Had a couple of people try this with me recently. The guy saying 'that guys a scammer' will tell you to use anticipate instead of tele grab to fool the scammer. That's as far as I got.

That would have been so funny if I went. I don't have access to any of those abilities lol

Would have liked to have seen how this unfolded if im honest! 

Often the people that pm you about how the guy is a scammer or whatever they say to you, is to gain your trust or to fool you to just try it because they got away with it.
They are in on the scam, they have tried it alot to me. (was years ago though)

Do they not even check who they're trying to scam, though... lol

Hello, I am quitting Runescape, but instead of giving my money away like an insane person, I am going to make you do all of these stupid tasks so you can have all of this money I never want to see again.

Scammers can go and eat ass. Sad thing is, people will still fall for these scams.

I've only been back for a month and had several people try to scam me on OSRS, two people (separate attempts) trying to lure me into wildy and several trying to pull the classic "buying <item> for <really good price>" and then when you trade "oh actually my friend is offering more so take this tablet and tp to him" in the hopes that you leave the item in the trade...

Runescape is a fun place 

I've honestly never been scammed before, I think I just avoid fishy people haha

This is hilarious...can't believe they never noticed you're a skiller...AND they were right there on 25, so shady wanting to hop.  I'd like to know their whole plan.

Heard of this scam before, its all over youtube.

Thing is you will be surprised how many still fall for thing like that!!

Hahaha had this happen to me once. Then the "good Samaritan" that tried to warn me about the scam got so mad that I wouldn't scam the scammer and went into my CC and accused me of luring "her". These people are ruthless.
