i thought i'd perform a bit of an experiment with 1,000 crystal keys just to see if i could actually make money from them... my initial thought was NO CHANCE, it would be a complete waste of my time and there is a reason its not a well documented method!!

SO.. it took me roughly 105 mins to get through the 1k keys using max cape tele and attuned crystal to the iorwerth chest (i didnt bother with the taverley chest)
i was also semi afking my ironman so i could have got that time down to around 80-90 mins.

Also after a bit of trial and error, 10 keys per invent was just right

buying the keys, buying 100 4h and teeth and loops it was roughly 38,300 (PC Shows less as the price has gone down... no fault of my own )

My guess was around 33M, good to see you got more than that

2,800 Corrupted ore an hour is way better than mining it. I think it's roughly 2-300 corrupted ore an hour during Trah hours.

Can you split the profit into 1k keys again? Then you could get an average rather than just the profit from 9k and the initial 1k

Na im keyping (pun intended) all the loot & halves and wait for 10k to bulk sell/alch all

Is it more cost effective to buy half keys or the full key?

its very close, most buy for -5% of market, so you might get a load of loops cheap but then teeth go up, so i mainly stick to the 100 full keys 4h

Definitely something ive been wanting to do for the corrupt ores, but not sure how profits are at the moment with youtubers making videos on this, you can also disassemble the crystal blossom thingys and make crystal tool siphons for profit
