Howdy! I have found a pretty awesome Chrome Extension that was advertised on the RS Reddit late last night. If you install this Chrome Extension it will give you a notification of when the Voice of Seren has changed and to what clans.

You may also change what VOS you'd like to see a message for. So if you select hefin, it should only notify you when hefin VoS is active.



You will receive a little popup from your task bar that appears like this :

That's pretty cool. I was planning on making a voice of seren updater on the new clan site, but with this extension, it may be superfluous. It seems though that Jagex's twitter updater is a bit bugged (which is where I presume that extension also gets its data from). I never did play around with the twitter API to fetch tweets properly though, so could be because of bad coding on my part

Pretty sure you'll need to have chrome open. Though, the notifcation will show up down by the task bar, if I understand Nub's description correctly

As it's a chrome extension, you will need to have chrome open. But the pop-up will appear near the task bar, so you don't need to use chrome, just have it open so it can send you a notification.
