I know I have done something wrong, but not sure what or how?

The fire bolt spell (2nd fire spell you learn to cast) says it requires 2 fire runes and 2 air runes. Yet when I cast it, only the air runes reduce. So then I put the fire runes in the bank. Went into spell selection, and I was still able to set up fire bolt, and it still cast, and it still only used the air runes.

I guess I am not using the fire bolt spell. So how do I set it up to cast?

Fixed it.
I was using the mystic fire staff lol
It provides it own fire runes.
