I think any skiller should have the choice to reset both their hp/prayer levels, this was jagex's fault and no1 elses.
However on the combat am not too certain on that, maybe if it was accidental but not op resets that gain u an adze at level 3/4 cause that'd be silly.

Also GL to all when resets do come out <33
Resets were stopped because of such cases. Yet the item's these accounts gained through this were "unable to be removed" yet with the resetting of HP/Prayer we'll lose any items/quests/areas/titles you name it, that we gained through having these skills level'd.

Were resets not stopped because there was blatant favouritism to the people who bought spins and stuff? Lead to unfair resets?

My point I'm arguing is of they can remove all those items/quests and stuff for skillers who did HP/Prayer to put them back to the lowest level surely 273 Magic exp isn't a big issue to remove for me.

They claimed that skillers aren't how the game was meant to be played but they are obviously taking an interest in them now so what changes for me?

Who says skillers aren't how the game is meant to be played? Damn that's harsh, lol.

They were stopped because of people getting items that were impossible for a skiller, e.g. Adze/Lumberjack and then getting a reset back to level 4 and still keeping the items.

And if they kept resetting every single person what would be the point in being a "skiller"

Skillers/pures were not how they intended the game to be played and never cared about the prior to 2012 or something. Now they care as they respect that this is how some people wish to play the game.

I dont think Jagex has any respect for any player to be honest, they will offer resets as another source of income

Well if they're now showing respect to people who have chosen to remain level 4/3 they should take some resets into consideration.. I mean myself as an example.. Before I made the staff not knowing it gave exp I read up on it on Wiki and checked what level requirements and stuff it never stated Magic was even included, just Runecrafting. It was late so maybe I missed it but still.

Whereas people who level for items and things shouldn't be reset. Surely the can look at the situation and make an accurate judgement on whether that person needs resetting or not. It's unfair to say no to us people who are genuine.

I'm sure mods are human are capable of making such judgements? Maybe I just need to buy 1000 spins for them to consider :/

I think that a lot of the people who work at Jagex, and particularly in customer support, have very little insight in the gameplay, different character builds and what it all means to the players. The result of this is that they need more rigorous guidelines to follow when they take action, because they can't discriminate. There are simplified guidelines in place now; they aren't allowed to reset anyone because they cannot (or couldn't in the past) handle it well, and of course this is unfair to those put their heart and soul into their accounts and got accidental level ups. What is now, however, will not always be. With time comes understanding as opinions are voiced, and the game and its policies will be changed thereafter.

Yes, they are many people who work for Jagex who do not understand the gameplay or any account builds as Red pointed out, but the customer support team are under very strict orders to not allow resets to anyone all due to a few incidents last year.

They are "currently working on a system to allow resets" which by the sounds of it should be nearing completion sometime soon ;) as it has taken over a year to produce, I personally hope a lot of thought has went into it. Also I am aware that any items that are gained by leveling stats then asking for resets will not be equip-able or obtainable again without the lowest stat requirements to achieve them properly ;)
