For context: I was training herb at the bank when this Pmod came to me and asked how to type out the screenshot I added into my personal message (which was my loot tab). I told him how to type it out (as shown in this post) and he then proceeds to mute my account for doing so. Doesn't seem like proper conduct for a Pmod..."
Mod Infinity steps in and saves the day!The vast majority of PMods are committed, dedicated players who genuinely support and look out for the community. They are an incredibly useful team of players and are probably the least thanked group in terms of their contributions to the health of the game.
It's therefore incredibly disappointing to see this type of behaviour, and I'm sure will naturally shock the wider PMod team. It casts doubt onto the entire PMod group - and I can understand the concerns raised in this thread. Please be assured that this example does not reflect the way the wider PMod team go about how they play RuneScape.
The person involved in this incident is no longer a Player Moderator.I've also credited your account with some additional membership to make up for the poor experience you had in game.
Finally, it's probably best to avoid giving out links in public chat, as it's very difficult to judge which links are genuine or not, and so as a general rule of thumb we ask that players don't link in public chat.
Personally, I'm just happy to see that a Jagex Moderator saw this post and was able to solves the guy issue as well as demoting that piece of shit PMod. Should received a temporary ban IMO though.
