I never saw the appeal of that game

It wasn't a terrible TCG, had a great concept and was fun to learn. But it got forgotten, rather than balancing it, and fixing any issues, Jagex done what Jagex always does and just let it die. Sad really as it got positive reviews from what I can remember.

Another complete failure of a side project from Jagex, they never learn 

I remember playing chronicle at one of the Runefests. Was a bit confusing for me, but one of those that if you stuck to it, would be fun to play. Another thing lost =/

Played it for a couple weeks when it first came out. For a game of that genre, I played it much more than other similar games so I will give it that. It was certainly different!

For some reason I had thought it shutdown already.

I thought this was dead from the start tbh,  although fun once you figured it out, they advertised it exclusively in-game only.

At that point they may as well made it a mini game in rs3.

Hopefully the dev time sink can be used to get mobile out quicker and back to regular game updates
