Wow I actually can't believe that there's another man who believes that pure resets should have more restrictions, and that man is from cts!
Hehe :)

Manny, my friend, read this

If we get more people to sense the danger that's after pures we'd get Jagex to put some restrictions

I 100% support everything on that post, I have seen this thread before but never knew it was from a clannie. I really hope Jagex sees it  O.o

If you fuck up and level Attack/Strength/Defence/Magic/Range/Summon by any mistake, that is your own fault and Jagex shouldn't be responsible for your actions. Unless it has the case of HP/Prayer where the combat formula was changed then changed back *claps for the bitchs of Runescape who get what they want and are still not satisfied* that then is at fault of Jagex as they can't stick to anything they do, always have to revert it back.

The defence reset package should only be available to those whom were 1 defence just before the release of EOC (with their other combat stats also raised at that time)

These have always and will always be my views, no circumstances has yet to change them.

I agree with this completely.

Wouldn't it be more logical to have the reset packages reset back to the XP prior to EoC? :P

I understand all points presented but I don't get why it's such a hardship to reset 2 or 3 levels for someone when it means a whole lot to that person..

Yeah, it's not and there's really no reason that they shouldn't in your situation. While it's true that it's not their responsibility, the same could be said for lost passwords, hacked accounts, name swaps and any other "client-side" issue. But, as is evident, it's good practice for companies to have a customer support :P

Jagex doesn't work that way :>

True, I wager they don't have a database backup from that time anyway, although it would make somewhat of a sense to keep backups from major updates

What about those accounts created after the release of the eoc? Or are those accounts not entitled to resets simply because they are newer accounts?

P.S. I do agree with you about if it's your fault, tough shit

Just for the defence reset. As it was very clear that being 1 defence in EoC was completly useless, and if they made 1 then level'd it's defence they knew exactly what they were getting into, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc *more etc's*

Skillers who got Hp/Prayer and their accounts were made in EoC (like me for example, I made Stee March 2013) should as at the time of that account being created Hp/Prayer was none combat.
