Not sure why they are looking into bringing concepts of the game they've removed back.

Probably for the pure community (the pkers) that quit. It's a large player segment that could potentially come back if the combat formula were changed. This would be in line with the combat updates we will see this year.

Oldschool private server was more or less brought out for the pkers that quit. It would be cool to see this update but in my opinion going back on updates is not a way to help make the game progress.

Finally they will do something right for once. I so miss being level 3.

Because you sit and look at being 4 Combat and think my life would be a lot better being 3 Combat.

My life is too hard @ 1 higher combat.
I can see it being more meaningful to higher cb players, I honestly thought 138 represented your total combat stats better.

As they said they'll probs allow resets.

If by any chance they don't, will just make a new account and do it again. Or play one of my many others, doesn't bother me much ;o

I plan on some combat levels anyway if reverted back to old system.

If they don't give resets would you still see people with HP/Prayer as "Maxed skillers" if they had all skills 99 and 120 Dung etc

I would love if they changed it back to 126

126 was a better number then 200

Going to get max combat any way and I like the old combat formula better any way.

but number dont mean much if you just going to max even if your max skilled or max main acc at level 37 or 3 or 126, 138 or even 200 .

So if this happened you'd stop playing on your skiller? And what "Combat" levels would you plan on getting?

I'd stop playing it if they didn't reset Hp/Prayer, and looking at the change in level requirements for items in Eoc I don't think I'd go ahead with getting some combat levels now. Will have to wait and see.

Most likely make a new account and do something different, have to see what happens 1st

I don't really understand quitting because of this update but I guess I am missing the big picture...

I would rather have system that includes everything including summ, prayer and hp but not being as weighted as much as the other 5 skills. Kinda like the old one except range/mage do something to get max cb

Why?

Is this going to rise my combat level? considering that I'm maxed with 50 Defence

Lower it if it goes back to the 138 combat.

If he has another maxed account then why bother leveling combat on the skiller to? I personally wouldn't see them as skillers if Prayer and HP once again contributed to your combat level, as they would have gained combat. Personally this is the reason why I haven't raised Prayer or HP.
