Much better than the normal game, I don't like playing on the normal Java client anymore.

However there seem to be huge stability/performance issues that haven't yet been fully ironed out. There are people with perfectly good computers struggling to handle it.

I like it. It runs a lot smoother for me compared to java even in high settings

I think it is a bit buggy at some bosses though

Runs much better for me than java on my rubbish laptop, does completely crash on me at times and yeah it is buggy at a few bosses but overall I'd take it over java anyday

I'd much rather use NXT, but i keep getting the error message where it says a heap crashes even though all my drivers are up to date and my PC is clean. I've checked for any corrupt memory but still nothing :(

Never had any issues tbh. There was a bug with overlays (msi afterburner etc) at release but on both my laptop and on my PC I've not had any issues with it. Try waiting for the cache to download and save.

I'm disappointed that the teleport load time is still longer than in the Java client, even when using an SSD. It's horrendous on older drives. Try playing with a 5400 RPM drive. Other than that I can't really complain besides a few minor graphical bugs. They seem to have fixed all the things that was causing crashes for me.

This is why I used java while going for xp

nxt looks much better but it's xp waste with the loading times and random delays like the lodestones

Can't really say I've noticed it really, I think its more to do with the dynamic loading that NXT uses. Try lowering the draw distance?

I play on minimal graphics (with textures enabled) :P

It's only like 2-3 seconds on here, which is possibly 50% slower than the java client. I haven't really measured it, but enough to be notable. On older setups it's way worse though. Like we're talking 10 seconds+

Usually I'm fine, but I do sometimes have issues when using lodestones where the cities take ages to spawn/let me move. I do play on Ultra though and some of my components are getting a little dated (to be changed shortly though!)

I personally
have not had a single performance issue at all with NXT
EVER
Laggy areas in Java?
Lagless in NXT
Slow loading times? Nope, everything loads pretty fast
I love evvvvvverything about NXT, it's so flawless for me :)
Honestly no cons whatsoever if you have a computer to handle it,

I used it on a laggy laptop
NXT; Much higher FPS WITH higher settings
Java; Much lower FPS with the lowest settings
I have never had a single problem with it, it's a shame, the people that have problems with it are missing out on so much :c
