This is why I don't understand skillers, you're limiting the game for yourselves. With that being said, you do not need any combat stats to train Invention - No idea if there'll be any useful things for skillers. Read more here [Click this beautiful cyan link]
Yeah I don't think there will be much useful stuff for skillers in the first batch. I think skilling tools and stuff will be in batch 2 but I'm not sure. But I agree with Mini. I wish I didn't limit myself for years by being a skiller. The full game is so much better :p

Once I gained combat, I realized once you finish a quest, you're done with it FOREVER. And the rewards are very very good.However, don't let anyone influence you on the way you want to play. Play how you see fit!
