Do you think Jagex should implement a feature where there is multiple characters linked to your account? Such as when you want to make a new character, you don't have to make a new account.

I personally think this is a great idea, but I think they should have a limit on to how many characters you can have per account.

You'd have to pay multiple memberships, assuming it's even possible technically.

I could see the smart thing in this, if we had different races we could choose from the start, like in other games.

It would be cool but many things would need to be changed like hiscores, membership fee as meg said, how would friend list and chat work etc.

It is indeed possible and for the membership thing they could implement an higher fee if you wanted to have more than one character but paying double membership for two characters or triple membership for three characters etc. wouldn't be the way to go in my opinion, just look at wow you pay the membership fee and you can have multiple characters on your account, although this would most likely be a loss of income for jagex as I am sure many players pay membership on more than one account so they may never do it.

Well, I do personally think they should allow multiple characters. They should make it so you would have to pay membership on each character though. Like click on a dropdown box and select which character you're buying membership for. I don't doubt that it would increase money made with Jagex.

i cant see myself using multiple characters for  long period of time but it would bee nice to test some things out on another before doing them on main character.

it's indeed a good idea , but i would personally never make a 2nd character as i'm not making 2nd accs either. just want to spend all the time i spend on rs to my main acc

I'm down with Vincent. As much as this seems like a great idea, and don't get me wrong I do! But it's just a nostalgia factor for me, I love the fact of having my one account. I've played multiple MMO's that have this feature, and even though it's works for them. I just don't see it lasting very long in RuneScape. To me, weighing up the factor that JaGeX would have to make multiple changes to RuneScape in order for a feature like this to work, opposed to how long the feature would last in the game before it stops being used.
