Naughty Jmod who is part of ROT, been accused of corruption on the OSRS reddit for years, has been sacked for hacking old school accounts and selling gold. They've refunded one account 45B so I would imagine the amount stolen is huge.

Crazy that all of the speculation about Jed is basically true. He was a member of RoTs and as far as I can tell, RoTs are the cancer of OSRS with luring, DDoS attacks and what not.

Saw another image on the 2007scape subreddit of someone being given back 21B worth of platinum tokens.

I visited a gold trading site, the first one that appeared on Google, and buying 45B, or 45,000M would cost $40,000 US dollars.  Insane.

It's a shame that Jagex can't even trust some of their own staff to work on the game without them trying to do something like this.

Yeah, another one got sacked around 2 years ago for the same thing more or less (so I read on reddit).
