Clan medals?

Seeing how we don't really have "events" this really wouldn't help with activity but i see a lot of clans doing this.
Making medals that a person can have in their sig if they meet a rank or accomplishment.
E.G #1 on the clan's runehead (Lie)
Or for skiller fans
#1 Skiller according to skilling total then xp

And ofc we can have other ones such as post counts
#1 Spammer

Crap like that.

If nothing else what I'm trying to do here is generate activity so people will want to strive for something. A "Runescape" achievement?
(xbox fan boys will understand what I'm talking about.)

Thoughts on this clan mates?

I'm not sure how to add them, but of course I will look at it, if people in the clan wants them.
I don't really see any reason to add them though. In the other clan I'm in the medals failed and was removed not so long ago.

Seems like it could be a good idea, but we need to know what we'll have them for and not a complete copy of Peacefull's medals.

Another option is instead of medals, make them into like awards and have a big thing each year where everyone votes for people in a certain category.
Things such as -
Nicest member
Most helpful member
Biggest no lifer
Etc, my old clan does this and I thought it was quite fun.

Also, if people could add them to their sig, it could be easily faked, since it's not that hard to right click and press Copy Image URL.

But good luck on developing them. It'd be cool if they were a success.

Well this sounds interesting, but I'm not sure it would work out completely, judging by the mixed comments thus far.

Hey, I'm all for it if its followed through with, but I think it'd be better to do more event-type things...like that one time we did stealing creation was VERY helpful, and also a fun time, (of course I sort of ruined it for someone, but I won't say names -cough- Trix). I promise I won't  O:-)

But yeah, I would rather see more events rather than this. 'Cause lately I've been really bored--only thing I'm looking forward to is the skill war this coming week!
