Geysers + scouts :> very easy and achievable

Main complaint with the mining week was people never knew geysers were counted, that is why a fair few never done them.

I hope someone in hola amigos recorded their sessions, I'd be interesed in seeing. I thought geysers were 450k/h (just something I heard from before). I think hola amigos would have won even without these methods

The list with things that would not work had LFM on there, I assumed Geysers came under LFM (srs, why wouldn't they?)

That and the main complaint of the entire thing is that being able to stall your timer by lobbying is against the spirit of competition. What's the point if you can do an "hour" over several with people helping you get stupid amounts of xp?

Only skill that was "stalled" was Fishing. Lol

Then they discounted it, so...

Fact is, none of the winners xp rates are anywhere realistic to what an actual skilling hour is, regardless of your view on it because you know the winners or those in the top few spots, they  are gaming the system in order to win something meant to be a bit of fun.

Had a very interesting conversation with Mod Matthe about this.

He understood completely about the gains.

As Lilly has said Jagex are looking for ways to improve the clan cup, to make it a more even playing field. As Meg said, it's not in the spirit of the competition what the top gaining clans have done, the methods they have used are just unfair. They have purposely gone out of their way to find loopholes to exploit. Hopefully next years cup will be a lot more of a competition between all the clans that enter and not just who can exploit things the most.

I may be a little late in this too, but I fail to see why you would come here just to brag about your clan winning. Imo, I would be kinda embarassed if we felt we had the need to cheat to win something.

It should be noted that it's not cheating if it's allowed. I haven't done any sessions yet, been a busy week and I was demotivated when I saw the results, but I'll do one session tonight. I hope that is enough (unless I'm mistaken, only the best session from each player is used in the cup)
